Quick and painless. There seems to be one waiting room for both AOS and citizenship interviews. You leave your appointment letter at the reception (there is nobody there, just slide it under the window) and wait. We did that, and no more than five minutes later we were called in. We were interviewed by a female officer who swore us in, and then we went through my application. Basically, I had to confirm everything - especially that I never had problems wit the law! Then she asked for any documents with our names on it - we had plenty. Joint account, apartment lease, car insurance, car registration. Finally we showed her some photos and letters (pretty old ones) and described how we had met. Then she took away my EAD and AP, stamped my passport and told me that my GC will arrive within two weeks
A few tips:
- You can park in the mall nearby - plenty of spaces and not too expensive. If you buy something, they will endorse your parking ticket. ... read complete review

Also, you are not allowed to take cameras or phones with cameras inside. Those regulations should be posted on the web site. However, when we finally got inside to where they do the interviews things went quite well. We waited about 1/2 hour for our case to be called and met with an immigration officer. She asked for some documents then told us to stand, raise our right hand and swear to tell the truth. Subsequently, she began to ask for proof of joint checking accounts, tax returns, life insurance policies, change of property title, etc. I explained that we did not get married in time to file a joint tax return and that we had not been able to open any accounts or change much because my wife had not obtained a social security number. It seems that the officer was most satisf... read complete review

The interview was very fast and pleasant. We would have been approved if my security check had been done.

I had a smooth saling experience. Interview lasted about 10 mins and the officer was nice enough to ask me if i wanted a stamp that he gave for 3 months till i receive my green card. Plus they are really fast in the Sacramento Office.
