The Raleigh office is in Durham, actually.
I had an appointment at 8:15am and we arrived there around 7:50am but the office was not open yet. My husband and I (and our baby) waited in the car and when it was 8am they opened the doors and we got in. Inside, a lady told us to have our IDs and letters ready to be checked and after we showed it to her we went through some security screening (just like you do in the airport), and I (the immigrant) was sent to a line to get a number and my husband and daughter went to a waiting room to wait for me. While the guy was typing in his computer to give me the ticket with my number I saw that my name was highlighted in his list (I got a bit concerned then). After I got the number they sent us to the second floor where there was another waiting room where we sat down and waited for like 10 minutes and they called our number. We had to bring our 11 month old baby with us, so when we got in the interview room we took some time to settle (we h... read complete review

I had an excellent experience. Every time I walked into that building (twice) I was greeted respectfully and with a smile.
The officer that interviewed me today was super polite and kind. He oculd see that I was very nervous and was very thoughtful.
I waited about 30 minutes and was in and out of the interview in less than 15 minutes.
Excellent service, very nice people, super speedy!

Really impressed by the service we received at this office on 10/26/17. We arrived for a 10:30 interview at 10:00. They had us wait downstairs until 10:15 at which time we were given a number and were permitted to go upstairs to wait for our interview. We were called back at about 10:55. The interview was super quick. My husband was sworn in and was asked a few basic questions - whether he had received public assistance, had commited a crime, had falsely claimed citizenship, etc. They asked to see his EAD and drivers license and told us the GC would come in the mail in about 30 days.

We had a 9:15 am appointment, and arrived at 8:55 am. The building isn't easy to find -- it's sort of hidden down a road behind an Extended Stay hotel -- but it was big and new and shiny and there was plenty of parking.
8:55 am -- We parked and went in; at the entrance is a cordon leading to a security checkpoint (airport style), with metal detectors and multiple officers/agents overseeing. There was no line, and the guy who checked us in was really nice (and laughed at our jokes). He told us he'd call us in about 5 minutes, and to meantime wait in the first floor waiting area.
9:00 am -- The officer stepped into the lobby and called for 'all 9:15 am appointments.' We went up, but they only needed my husband to check in; I was told to sit and wait for him, and that he'd be right back. He showed his appointment letter to the officer, then was directed to a check in desk, where he gave a bit more information and got a number (ours was K15, but I have no ide... read complete review

The interview itself was short & sweet; the officer had made up his mind beforehand. Didn't want to see any additional evidence. Had to sit and wait a while to be called in, but other than that it was very easy.
