Done quickly and professionally. Officers were friendly but focused. One did the small talk and the other did the paperwork. Had phone ring a few times and someone knock at the door. Approved in an hour of leaving the offices.

Arrived 2 minutes passed our appointment time (which was at 9am) due to traffic. Was very nervous but the check-in officer didn’t say anything about being late and immediately gave us a ticket number and sent us up to the 2nd floor. We waited for maybe 20 minutes. The officer was young and courteous. He swore us in, checked our ID, and went through the information in I-130 & i485. He then asked us questions about our relationship, quite basic questions. He then asked if I have new evidence to submit. I shared new documents that I have and he was appreciative. After that we signed a paper confirming information given was truthful. My husband asked what’s next and he just said you will hear back in 30-45 days. We found out we were approved the next day.

The interview was done and over with somewhere around 5-10 minutes. The interviewer didn't have any questions other that asking us our names and birthdays. Also, we had to provide the birth certificate (or in our case CRBA) of our daughter. We were prepared with pictures and other paperwork, if needed, but none was. Great experience and very nice interviewer.

Overall a smooth easy experience. Wasn't sure what to expect since it was the day before Thanksgiving - typically a travel day and "leave work early" day for most. We arrived at 8:30 for 9:00 appointment. 1 person ahead of us as we went thru the airport style x-ray machines. Even had to take my belt off, but shoes on. Waited with 6 or 7 other groups in the first floor waiting room. 8:45 instructed to line up at the front desk to sign in and get a number. Only the applicant can get in line. No one else can wait with them. This caused at least one person some anxiety as they didn't speak English. However, when it was her turn at the sign in desk, her interpreter and petitioner jumped up from the waiting room and helped her get her number. My wife understood enough to get her number herself. He asked her, "are you sure this passport picture is you? You look younger!" Not sure if he meant you look younger in the picture or now, but he was smiling and trying to make small talk... read complete review
