My wife and I had our interview on the Wednesday 19th of this month, everyone situation is different. We had an 8:40am appointment got there 20min early.
We brought copies of all documents submitted with our applications, The IO sworn us in and ask for the approved I-130..........my daughter birth certificate. Then ask my wife where was she born and when did we get married. And I was asked about my parents and the yes and no questions and that's it. Less than five minutes I was approve also ask for the stamp in the passport but he told you don't really need it........once he enter it in the system I am a permanent resident which he's going to put in the computer while he makes copy.
Less than half hour we get the email and text.
We had a good experience so it all depends on your individual case.
Good luck and nothing beats the truth....we didn't prepare for question or anything because everything about us is real.

Our interview was on February 6, 2014 and it was relatively painless! We arrived about 15 minutes early for the 1 pm interview, went in around 1:15 pm and were outside by 1:30 pm. There's a lot of two hour meter street parking nearby, and we left everything but our giant folder of documents and IDs in the car. We had a friend come with us as an interpreter since my husband isn't fluent in English, but the IO was bilingual so the interview was conducted in Spanish and our friend stayed in the waiting area. We asked the IO how many interviews he does per day, and he told us that he usually does 6-7, but since he was the only Spanish speaker in that day, he had 10.

Going in I was concerned that we didn't have a lot of "official" legal documentation of our relationship, but we followed other VisaJourney members' advice and made sure we brought what we had and lots of photos, cards, emails, etc. Ultimately, the IO didn't want to see anything, but I'm glad we went in prepared!... read complete review

Well, after the few checks and waiting for about an hour, we had out interview. The lady interviewing us had lost her voice so she didn't question us much. She was very friendly, asked us both personal Q's like how we met, how long ago, described each other and if we live together. We joked around, showed some pics and that was it! Overall, a great interview.
