The gentleman wanted to see our wedding pictures and wanted to know and see, if we had joint bank accounts and other assets. get a print-out from your bank. We showed our leases, insurance cards (health and life insurance) and several bills. He asked us, how we met. If my wife is working, if I am working, if I ever got arrested, if our parents approved the wedding. We had more pictures of us, where we were in Germany and on the East Coast. The interview took maybe 20 min., then he said:"Looks good, we make a final review and you can expect mt Greencard in 90 days. And please don't leave the country!"
A day later I received an email from "CRIS" telling me, that I was approved and the card production has been ordered. verdict: No reason to be stressed out! You are always innocent until proven guilty, and they know you went the legal way. So just don't lie and you don't have to be nervous. Good luck

Our officer called us in on time. Kennedy was great, to the point, and no nonsense. She asked to the point questions and gave answers to all our questions and was genuinely interested in our concerns After 10 minutes of questions and answers, we were APPROVED! Great job Milwaukee USCIS!

We arrived 30 minutes prior to our interview. We were all dressed appropriately. I'm amazed at the clothes some people wear to their interviews. We were all called in together (the "-----" family). Officer was very nice. We had spoken to her before regarding a scheduling mix up. She was very pleasant and professional. Our whole interview lasted 15 +/- minutes with 5 minutes of it being idle chit chat. My husbands name check came back the Friday prior to the interview! Green Card approved! File to remove conditions in 21 months! Woo hoo!

While Milwaukee is our local office, the AOS interviews were held July 9, 2007 in Bloomington, MN (metro Minneapolis) for Maria's K-1 status and Miguel (age 16) K-2 and Marc (age 13) K-2. Marc's I-485 paperwork had separated from the others within the bowels of the USCIS, but we brought Marc and his backup documents to the interview anyway. Thankfully, USCIS took Marc's backup copies and proceeded with all of us. Took perhaps 15 minutes, no unusual questions and was very cut and dry. The I-485 documents were rapidly read from and the answers were simply re-confirmed verbally by each of us. Told we could expect the 2-year probationary green cards in 5 to 30 days. In hindsight, our EAD and cost filed separately was extraneous, however, if there had been name-checking delays then the EAD might have been useful.
