First, we arrived about ten minutes late because we could not find parking. We should have done our research better, but still no harm done.
When we arrived, we placed our interview notice on the desk and sat down. ABout 15 minutes later, the interviewer called us into our office. He asked us to stand and raise our right hands. When we did that, he asked us to swear to tell the truth, which we did. Then he told us to sit down.
He asked for our passports. I looked through the envelope where we had placed our paperwork and found my passport, but could not find my wife's passport. It was very impersonal and slightly formal. We had no problems throughout the process, and the interviewer while non-committal on approval was very respectful and professional.

Everything went according to plan, the AO asked about how we met, looked at our photos and made copies of our bills, my social security card etc. When the AO came back from making copies she asked if I had my fingerprints taken and I showed her my Biometrics appointment notice with the dated stamp on it. She left again to make a copy of that and came back with a form stating that a decision can't be made until further administrative checks are completed. I asked what the outcome of the interview was and she said she felt our marriage was valid and that we will hear from the USCIS once the checks are complete.
