If it possible to take LA metro/train, please do so. it's $1.75 / person / trip.... We paid $12 for parking, that's BS. The Union Station is 3 minutes walk from the Federal Building. I was just too nervous and didn't want to be late so we decided to drive in retrospect train would've been such a great idea.

Bring a copy of EVERYTHING you submitted (I-129F Petition Pack, K-1 Visa Application Pack, and your AOS/EAD/AP Application Pack). You never know what the IO / the USCIS are missing from your pile / asking you to show them during your interview.

Eat breakfast/lunch before your interview.... you'll be waiting a long time...

There is a candy bar machine and a water fountain just outside the waiting room.

Dress up. Look nice and proper.

There's no issue with bringing Phone into the building.

SIDE NOTE: Although this whole thing was basically a breeze for both of us and we did EV... read complete review

Our initial interview schedule was Sept. 12 but 2 days before that, they called to cancel and reschedule the interview. We went anyway and was told to come back on the 26th. We also received our notice indicating the reschedule within that week.

Our interview went well and smoothly. We arrived around 7:45 am for our 8:15 am interview. There were lesser people compared to the last time we went (Sept. 12). We initially checked in at room 6024 but around 8:40 am, we were told to go to room 6001 as our IO was there, waiting for us.

We were called our 8:45 am. Our interview was pretty straightforward. We swore to tell the truth, then the officer questioned my husband first (USC) about the details in his G-325A. Then she asked me about my bio as well, checking the info in my G-325A as I answered. Then, she proceeded to ask me the questions answerable with No. She also asked how we met, then she asked for any further documents we'd like to submit.

My interview at LA office went pretty well. Checked in at 10:00 am, got interviewed at 11:30am, was assigned to An officer which was very accomodating and nice. While waiting for me and my husband's turn we we're so freaking nervous. The moment we were called we went straight to the room and were told to remain standing for the oath taking. The officer ask if we have other evidences we want to submit, so i handed her everything organizely and she was so surprised about it.She loved how i made everything neat and organized, while she was doing the paperworks on the computer ,the interview went. she asked my husband when and how we met, when was our first meeting, when was the moment he said to himself that I'm the right one. Then she asked me if my parents was able to attend the wedding then she advised to just have our wedding in the philippines too for my family. Then after that, she went through the I-485 application form i submitted. Then conversations went through about her experie... read complete review
