My friend had thier interview and everything went well. very polite interviewer asked general name and birthday. Asked how we met and how long we dated. Asked if my spouse spoke with my parents . After an hour it was over and just waiting on a response on status but very hopeful.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had our interview yesterday at the Chicago office. The officer swore us in and asked to see our IDs. The only other document we were asked for was our baby's birth certificate.

The officer asked my husband to confirm his details (birthday, address...etc.) and answer some of the yes/no questions from AOS application. The officer then asked me how my husband and I met. Once I answered the question, the officer told us we were approved.

My husband then gave his fingerprints and had a photo taken. We were told the card would arrive in the mail in about 2 weeks. The officer also explained that we would have to file ROC in 2 years.

From entering the building to exiting, the whole process took an hour. The interview itself  was maybe 10 minutes.

The officer told us on the spot that we were approved but didn't give us a stamp and our case has not yet updated online.

Review Topic: Lifting Conditions

The office is still operating under COVID restrictions, so we had to wait outside until about 10 minutes prior to our appointment time. The security guards outside were friendly enough, though strict with letting people in and not having much patience for people coming up without their paperwork ready. The second floor security guard was extremely friendly and funny, as was the staff member taking our appointment letter. They definitely put the right people up there as it made for a much less scary atmosphere to wait in. We only sat around for about 5 minutes before being called back.

Our interviewer was nice and straightforward. She spent a few minutes asking my husband questions about his name and other details on his application, confirmed our address, and then asked if we had anymore evidence we'd like t... read complete review
