Arrived for interview at 9.05 am, scheduled for 9.30 am, called in at 9.40 am. Our officer was very casual and friendly. We took the oath, then she asked us how we met (in England) and what we were doing at the time (working/studying respectively). What date did we get engaged; where was the ceremony; was it church or civil; how many guests. She asked my husband (US citizen) if he was born in America. She asked me what visa I was on when I first came over (non-immigrant work visa - E3). She then took me through the standard questions (terrorism etc) and asked if we had anything else to show her. We gave her some loose photos to keep - from when we were dating, the wedding, a few more recent. She flipped through and took a few to keep (I noticed she kept the ones that showed us conspicuously traveling together - e.g. us in front of the Louvre, us in front of a Dutch windmill, us in front of Loch Ness; she also kept one of us with my family at the wedding). Our interview lasted 20 minutes. Be prepared, take originals of whatever you have, naturalization certs, marriage certs, birth certificates, etc. Don't be nervous. They want to confirm what you submitted is legit and the marriage is legit and genuine.

how long it will take for interview?i applied i 485 in the month of july 10,2013,i received acceptance on july 16,2013,biometrics on august 16,2013 sice september 4,2013 its showing testing and interview but i didnot receive any interview date...
