Took about 20 minutes total. I recommend sitting close to the reception desk so that you can more easily hear the immigration officers call your name.
My experience mirrors those of most reviewers. The immigration officer came out and called my husband's name. He greeted us warmly and had me (the US citizen) come with him to his office first while my spouse remained in the waiting area. He asked me various straightforward questions about him: full name, date of birth, parents names, where we met, how long we've lived together, etc. He then brought my husband back to join us and asked him pretty much the same questions. I recommend making sure you know things like your exact wedding date, birth dates and such before going for the interview. Everything went well and he told us we should find out the result in 2-3 weeks but didn't see anything that should prevent a successful outcome. And that was that. Entire process took about 30 minutes. Officer separated us and questioned me (US citizen) for about 10 minutes, and my wife (green card applicant) for another 20 minutes. Stated that she should receive her card in about 2 weeks after the interview.

We were very lucky to work with a great group of people here in Boston. Everyone at the office was very kind and making jokes with us to make us feel welcome and at ease. The interview took about 30 minutes and the immigration office was nice and had a sense of humor. They first interviewed me (the US Citizen and petitioner). They asked for proof of bonafide marriage, which I supplied in the form of photographs of us at our wedding, at a friends wedding, photographs of us in a different city with receipts from flights and AirBnB to prove we traveled there together, and a signed copy of our lease with both our names on it. I also provided the last 2 months of pay stubs to prove my continued employment and a copy of my health insurance showing that she is covered under my policy. They then asked basic relationship questions about where and how we met, when we started "officially" dating, and when we visited each other over the past year while living in separate countries.
