My husband arrived at the Consulate by 7:40 AM. He said they didn’t let people in until 8:00 AM and the check-in process was pretty quick/simple for CR-1. I stayed in the apartment that we had in Casablanca and waited for the outcome. He said he had to check-in his bag (minus all our documentation) at the door but he noticed many people with blue blinders that held all their documents. So you are able to organize things in a thin binder, I just don’t recommend bringing a big white or black hardback binder.
After about 1 ½ hours of waiting they called him in for the interview. They asked him the following questions:
* How many times has your wife visited Morocco?
* How long was each visit?
* Does your wife send you money?
*Where does your wife work?
*What type of policy does your wife write?
*What type of Christian? NOTE: Interviewer brought in Arabic speaker for this question because my husband did not underst... read complete review

They also asked my fiance a few questions. He said it was quick and simple. He was asked:
How and where me met
How long we´ve been together
Where I lived
Where I worked and what I did
They asked him to write my name on a piece of paper
That´s it! I prepared him for week and he told me all of that preparing was a waste of time! Better safe than sorry though. (note: he´s a Moroccan citizen but Spanish resident)

My husband said he was interviewed by a woman (sorry no description) he said she was nicer than the woman who interviewed him for the K-1.... He was asked questions about
1. my children their name, ages and birthdates and how far away my older children live from me
2. My job, where, I work, how long I have worked there, How much I am paid and how long it takes me to get to work.
3. How many times I have visited him and length of each stay
4. Why I did not visit him last year
5. My parents names, where they live and work
6. My ex husbands name, how long we were married, when we divorced
So far these are the only questions my husband remembers being asked... I kinda comes to him here and there... LOL..
Anyhoo.... I started this new job in September and thought we would not need a sponsor because my income is over the guidelines, but I found out that because my income from 2011 was below we would need a spons... read complete review

I have recently seen reviews about concern related to wait times for final approval. I have been married for almost two years and unfortunately I am going through a living nightmare with my husband. He is currently detained in jail for DV. Since his detainment I have come across documents that suggest I am a victim of marriage fraud. Not only is there a lot of heart ache and dimay, there is the time involved in processing an investigation through ICE and USCIS.
My point is this.....Let the Consulate do there job now. It is better to know that your finance has been throughly reviewed and will come to america with good intent instead of dealing with abuse and fraud and a broken heart later down the road.
PATIENCE is impairative and your happiness and future ARE worth the wait.
As a side note. Morocco is known as one of the countries with a High incident of marriage fraud..... BE PATIENT

Husband went through 2 interviews in late November. Was told administrative review, they kept all paperwork, he would be contacted. I am happy there was not a problem and an immediate no, but this wait is killing me. I also need our marriage certificate for another process here for myself. Does anyone have experience in how long this takes from this point. I am very frustrated now that it has been a month since the interview and a year sincey we started this process. Please help
