My fiance got a blue slip on August 21, 2007. The blue slip did not state any reason for the denial. All they did is saying to my fiance that they will contact her. I got so frustrated and went to the CO and they told me that to wait for the letter in the mail (When?). I only have a little over 2 weeks for my vacation. What should I do next beside waiting for the consulate letter, and how long do I have to wait????? ( my email is anhvdinh@hotmail.com)

Our case was halt for stupid reason missing the document that's already there. Please remember to place everything request in Package 4 in order not just number them because they'll make you reorganize the document before you can go for interview. There is a lots of petitioner using service to organize there information but be sure your fiance knows what is what.

All interviews for K-1 seem to be scheduled at 10 AM. My fiance arrived at 7:30, they reviewed her document stack at 11 and let everyone out to go to lunch. Finally at 3:30 she was interviewed but the transalator asked what was essentially the ethicity of my previous spouse instead of where she was born ( US ). There impression at that point was that I had not disclosed all information. This resulted in a a blue slip and we spent the next week preparing a package for review. To our delight the day it was submitted, she was asked to wait and 90 minutes later or so she was given the pink paper ( approval ) for VISA. The consulate people seemed relatively friendly but business like. Since we had success I cant complain.
