My fiance arrived at the consulate for her 9:00am appointment, was checked in, then had to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours. When she was called up she greeted the interviewer and English and was greeted with a warm smile. The interviewer asked if she wanted to be interviewed in English and my fiance agreed.

The entire interview lasted about 10 minutes in length and she was APPROVED!

Overall, a very good experience.

We got approve on March 21st 2014. I have been prepping my fiancee with lots of question this week so that she knows how to answer them properly. I wasn't afraid of our paper work because i did it all and it is really completed.

My fiancee arrive at the consulate about 10:30am and there was no lines. The lady at the front ask for the package #3 and also the DS-160. I think I goof the DS-160 form because her 1st name didn't show up. It came out FNU and they almost didn't let her in. Other people had the same issue.

When she got in, she did her BIO/Finger and then when in to submit all the require documents. The lady that was standing there was very rude to my fiancee. Giving her rude comments on why all of her paper work was inside a neatly place binder but my fiancee just shrugged it off.

There are many people inside that will direct her to the correct place to do certain things in the process which was extremely helpful.

Our interview date was March 7th at 11 am. We arrived at 9 am and the Vietnamese staff escorted us inside. You have to go through securities and then you can come in to take your number. There are four steps total, biometrics was taken and then we waited to submit our paperwork. Unfortunately, when we came to submit our paperwork, my fiancee forgot her police report 2. Then we waited for her interview. During the time that she got her biometric taken, submit paperwork ... I was able to be there . Then when she had her interview, I bought her paperwork up. This seem to help and the consulate was very happy of this. I stated that I am the petitioner and she was happy to find out that I came back to accompany my fiancee. She ask when did I arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and when I was living. I stated that I only bought one way ticket back to Ho Chi Minh City and will buy two one way tickets back with my fiancee. There she ask my fiancee to say what my name is. Then she to... read complete review
