0830 appointment.
Was in the queue for 8am.
Queue had 20 people in it. Was inside embassy by 0845.
Was called to the first windon within 30 mins. A few simple questions from a nice man. Was told to pay fee and come back with receipt. Did so, then told to sit down again & wait to be be called again. 30 mins later called to see nice lady officer.
Ask few simple questions as posted by everyone else submitting a review.
Officer was very nice, smiley, and you could tell she was on your side.
Was told she was approving my application and took my passport.
Awesome.

Very quick, in and out of embassy in less than an hour. Queued from 7am for 8am interview so I was the first CR1 case into the building.
Called to first window within 5 mins. Took fingerprints, given US welcome pack & pink courier slip.
Called to interview within half an hour, fingerprints again, pledge to tell truth then asked:
What husband does for a living & reason he had no income for a couple of years?
When he became a naturalised US citizen?
If Ive been in trouble with police?
Who was an my wedding?
When we met?
How many times we've visited - him to UK, me to US?
Which countries Ive lived in since age 16?
Was then told I was approved & welcome to the USA
Visa arrived by courier next morning before 8am.

Interviewers were neither over-friendly or too officious. Both wished me luck in my marriage and future life in the States.
The only bad thing was having to wait so long, despite having a 9am appointment.

Arrived at 8am outside the embassy and joined the queue. We started to file in through the security checks at about 7.40. Lots of people who hadn't heard the warnings about no electronic equipment had to go and take their mobiles etc elsewhere first. I took my numbered sticker and sat down in the waiting room in front of the bank of screens showing you which numbers they are working on. (It really is a bit like Argos). The applications were split into different categories - immigrant, non-immigrant etc. There were only 11 immigrant visas being processed while I was there but hundreds of non-immigrant ones. After sitting for about 40 minutes I was called to window 13 where the guy looked through the paperwork in my file and took my fingerprints. Then I went to sit back down and wait for the second interview. That happened about 90 minutes later. A very charming American man did the second interview - he asked me a few questions about my job and my husband's job and what I thought of the... read complete review

I arrived in the pi$$ing rain at 830am, interview was at 900am so I was there in plenty time. The queue wasn't too bas so no complaints there. The security staff gave me a plastic bag to put in any coins, wallet etc in. I passed through the gates and was given the number 5007.
I went up some steps on the left and sat on my butt looking around at other people( I know i'm sad haha) After about 40 mins my number was called and went to a box with a pleasent looking woman behind the screen. She took my documents and finger prints then handed me a slip to pay the visa fee. I came back showing that I paid and was told to sit down and wait for to be called for my interview.
After another 20 or so mins I was called again for the interview, I took a big deep breath and off I went. I was met with a very cheerfull female immigration officer. She gave me back my documents. I was asked a few simple questions eg-
Where did you meet your fiance?
