Arrived 30 mins before my appointment. Quite a large queue outside at the first security checkpoint. But it moved really quick.

Then pass airport style security then into the reception where there was a slight delay. They only let those that were there for a 10am interview/meeting up despite it being 10:15ish (my appointment was 10:30am).

Note: you will see a lot of ds-160 signs, don’t worry our ds -260 actually jumps us to the front of the queue. If like me you thought you had to wait till they began letting up the 10:30s then you’ll end up being late 😁.

I got to the front of the queue at reception and noted I had a ds-260 not a ds-160. The. Dry friendly lady noted I should t have waited lol. So if you have a ds-260, just politely walk to the front and let the reception know it’s a green card interview you’re there for.

I was sent to the lifts to the first floor. Turned left and left agai... read complete review

Husband's testimony: I arrived at the embassy at 0815 for my appointment at 0830. There was a 50+ person queue, I was unsure due to my appointment being so soon that I would be allowed to cut forward.

There was a nice couple who said they would hold my place and I went forward to the people checking your documents before you went in, the guy manning on booth was rather busy and dismissed me saying I have to wait like everyone else.

However 25 minutes after when I got to the front of the queue he questioned why I didn't mention it was an immigrant visa appointment and remarked that there were several people in my situation dealing with being late for their appointment due to the ever growing queue.

Once I passed through security I was seen to at the reception and given my queue number and told to go up the lift to the booths. Upon exiting the lift I was directed to a separate set of booths for immigrant visa appointments. My number was called... read complete review

Mostly super straightforward, just make sure you've got everything printed you're told to bring (including DS-160 confirmation page and the email showing you paid for the appointment/courier) and you'll be fine. Arrived at 9:20am for a 10am interview, documents were checked outside in a long queue and was through security by roughly 9:55am. Then had to queue for a decent period at the front reception as they weren't ready for 10am slots yet, finally got my number for the process and went upstairs around 10:30am. Saw the first person almost immediately and handed over my documents (birth cert/ACRO/passport/affidavit of support/financial proof) at the desk and gave my fingerprints. Sat back down and waited roughly 35 minutes to go to the actual 'interview'. Interview lasted roughly 5 minutes, was asked a few questions (where did you guys meet, how long have you been dating, what does your fiancé do), gave my fingerprints again and visa was approved. Was out the door by around 11:30, s... read complete review

Arrived about 45 minutes early and there was a significant queue. I didn't need to drop anything off at the coffee shop to be stored, but others said it was £10, and you got a free coffee after collection.

I joined the queue 30 minutes before my interview. I provided my DS260 confirmation document and passport and got directed through the security checkpoint. I was asked to turn on my phone and open any app but the guard at the door. After going through the normal airport style security check I opened the worlds heaviest door to the courtyard (if you struggle to open it, ask for help it's really heavy).

Going into the building I joined another short queue and was asked a few questions about my visa type and had some stickers applied to my ds260 confirmation and was sent upstairs one floor to the 1st floor.

I was sent to 19-25, which is a left and all the way round the side of the embassy. I was called up to the booth within a minute or ... read complete review
