  1. Hopefully my experience will be helpful here as I couldn't find a lot of posts from people who had been through this exact scenario when I was driving myself crazy. I went for my I-130 spouse visa interview today in London and was in a similar situation (incorrectly answered no to the arrests/convictions question with a minor arrest resulting in a caution on my record from 12 years ago for abusive language). I brought it up as early as I could at the embassy (I also had copy of my subject access request and printed correspondence with NVC to ask if I could amend my form when I had realised my mistake, to which they said raise it at interview). I was only asked for the SAR at the first window, and they didn't need to see my correspondence with NVC. I again brought it up proactively at the second window - the officer asked me to explain the situation, I gave a v. high level summary of what had happened and when (in my case it was almost 12 years ago) and the outcome - he told me this would not be a problem. Majority of the questions were about when / where I met my wife, and our situation now - I was approved on the day, and told that I will receive my passport back with the visa within 2 working weeks - the whole interview only took about 5 minutes after waiting to be called to the window. I really hope anyone who (like me) has been worrying about a mistake on their form for the past 18 months - will see this and find it helpful. My advice would be to bring any concerns / errors up yourself if you know of them as the officers will appreciate you being upfront. Obviously this is just my experience, but I will say that everyone I spoke to at the embassy was super helpful and friendly, and i'm convinced they are not in the business of declining applications unless they have to. Good luck everyone!
  2. Update: my interview letter (email) came through this morning (30th Nov) at 06:30 UK time DQ 01st Nov (*re-read and it was issued on the 1st, US time) Interview 10th Jan - London Good luck to everyone waiting on an IL!
  3. Afternoon all - joining this thread as I got an email to say my I-130 application was documentarily qualified on 02nd of November. If anyone with a DQ in Nov gets an interview letter/email for the London embassy please shout out and i'll do the same! Having read through some of the recent comments i'm guessing this may not happen until end of Nov / beginning of Dec at the earliest, but doesn't stop me hoping for something sooner!
  4. All - sharing my NVC timings (so far) below, hope this is helpful! 13th of July 22 - submitted docs to NVC 12th September 22 - RFE (provide W2 for joint sponsor) 02nd November 22 - email from NVC confirming my case is documentarily qualified The document review timings were very close to (slightly faster than) the official NVC published timeframes for each review cycle. If anyone has information about current waiting times for NVC to schedule an interview at the London embassy (or knows of a relevant thread for that) please let me know
  5. 13th of September - so it took 7 weeks & 1 day from re-submission to DQ.
  6. Thanks! The request was for us to submit a W-2 form in addition to the tax return we had already submitted for our joint sponsor.
  7. Quick update on my NVC case in case this is helpful for others - I got DQ from NVC this morning. I originally submitted all my docs in early July, but then had RFEs in September, so effectively took 2 full rounds of review (can confirm the clock resets if you have to submit additional documentation / amend existing). But very happy to clear another hurdle and now impatiently waiting for interview letter from London embassy... 🤣
  8. Fully agree - hoping to have some feedback from NVC within the next 2 weeks based on the published timeframes, but even then from looking at timelines of similar cases with London embassy it could be another 5 months until I have an interview... My wife is moving back to USA on 10th of September, so it's looking like long-distance for a few months at least which is pretty frustrating (although I appreciate there are others here who are still waiting for I-130 approval and have been living apart already). I've completed our timeline and will keep it updated to hopefully help the estimates for the rest of you.
  9. I got a receipt by email the same day, but the status changed to paid 3 days later (at which point I could access the DS-260 and sponsor details).
  10. Yes, my I-130 was approved on 25th June 22 from Potomac SC - my filing date was 04th September 21 for reference. Currently still waiting for NVC to review my documents and schedule an interview...
  11. My I-130 was processed at Potomac Service Center. It took 10.5 months from initial submission to I-130 approval (the published processing time for Potomac when I received approval was 12 months).
  12. I got a receipt on the same day I paid the fees - then it took about 2 days for the status to change to "PAID" against the affidavit of support and form-260 fees. At that point I was able to start uploading documents. Hope this helps.
  13. Hi - not much to report from NVC - timings below: I130 Filing date: 4th September 2021 Receipt Notice: 4th September 2021 Active Review:13th January 2022 USCIS Approval: 25th June 2022 USCIS Submission to NVC: 27th June 2022 NVC Notification of Case Creation: 1st July 2022 NVC Fees Paid: 5th July 2022 NVC form-260 confirmation receipt: 8th July 2022 NVC approved amendment to joint sponsor: 13th July 2022 (correction of an error in my AoS application docs) NVC unlocked joint sponsor in CEAC for doc submission: 19th July 2022 (submitted the docs on the same day) I'm now waiting for NVC to review documents - the most recently published NVC case review timescales do appear to have reduced by 2-3 weeks, which is encouraging. I will update when I have more feedback.
  14. I’m assuming that time from approval to interview date will vary based on which country you are applying from (as each consulate will have its own waiting times).
