Got approved today!
My appointment was at 8:00 so I got to the embassy at around 6:40. There were already 12 people in front of me, but it later turned out I was the first in line for the immigrant visa. At 7:30 they start splitting the lines and checking your docs.
After a security check I was sent to the reception where I was given I901 number!
Exactly at 8:00 windows start opening and numbers are called. I was invited to the fist window at 8:05. The guy was very professional, didn't smile or make any jokes. He asked for the originals of civil documents, pictures, courrer information and then took my fingerprints. After that I went back to the waiting room and waited for about 25-30 minutes for my interview.
The lady interviewing me was beyond nice! She was so smiley and friendly, which made my nerves go away. She made me take an oath and then asked:
1) How did you meet
2) What does he do for a living... read complete review

Arrived at 8:15 for a 9am interview time. They have several queues outside, however no signs as to what they are. Turns out they are by appt time. After queuing up for about 30 minutes, a lady came down the line checking papers and sent me to the front as I was an immigrant applicant. So maybe ask someone and you might get to cut the line.
Security was a breeze. Then got a number and took a seat in the hall at 9am. The numbers come up on the screen, they're not in numerical order so pay attention. Number was called at 9:30, went to the window and showed my documents to a short lady, who was a bit quiet but nice enough. Make sure you have your documents ready. Despite what it says on the screens inside, you will also need your payment and delivery confirmation for your visa.
Took a seat for round about another 40 minutes, before being called up for my interview. Interview was brief and easy and the interviewer was very friendly. Her questions were:

interview was at 9:00am, I arrived at 8:00am and there were 3 lines, I joined one and was told by someone asking when peoples interviews were to go straight to the desk to "sign in" with my passport and DS-160. I was then told to join a specific line which a guard looked at peoples DS-160 and Passports one by one then I joined another short line where 4 people at a time were told to go through a hut that was basicly like going through airport security.
Then I walked around the building and up some stairs to a reception to sign in where i got a number then walked up some more steps to the waiting room where there was maybe 100 seats and a huge TV screen with random embassy videos on it, then after 8:00am people were called out by a speaker system before the numbers were called out via the big tv screen everytime by a loud noise.
the numbers were called out in numberical order such as N-1, N-2, N-3 however the majority were numbers such as N-1 whereas K1 in... read complete review

Hello all ! My hubby was approved today ! What a relief it is ! His appointment was at 8:30 am , he was there about 7:45 . The line was already long . They sort you by Visa and appointment time . The first person asked for his appointment letter and passport . He was given a number and then sat down to wait . He was called to the first window where he was asked for his passport pictures , interview letter and courier receipt . He was also fingerprinted . He was told to sit down again , and then he was called up by a lady , who only asked , where I was , when we were married , if this was his first marriage , if it was my first marriage , and that was it ! She said your visa has been approved ! Go celebrate ! It was simple and straight forward . He had with him every paper , pictures and anything else we could think of . He wasn't asked to show most , except for the civil documents , health folder , passport and new passport pictures . So bring everything they ask for and then more , j... read complete review

I had my interview today and I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. My appointment was at 8am and I arrived at 6:50am to find that there were already people waiting. At 7:30am the employees came to set up outside and we were soon being called up to have our passports and appointment letters checked. Onto a secondary check prior to security and the gentle man wanted to see the DS160 too. After passing through security, I followed the signs to get round the side of the building and into the visa section. There my appointment letter was checked again and I was given a number: I903 - which meant I was 3rd to be interviewed for an Immigrant Visa today.
My number was called at 8:15am and when I got to the window was met by a lovely lady who asked for: My passport, passport photo, original birth cert, proof of payment for DS160 and courier, and the Affidavit of support form. That's it! I was almost miffed at that because I was so stressed trying to collate all the ... read complete review
