We were very disappointed with the results. We were hoping to come out with the visa but were asked to continue to get more information. We have been trying to get a visa since 2014.

I checked in to the Consulate exactly 13:01. Walked into the building after security check and got an Immigration ticket number. My appointment was for 13:30.
After seating for 1hr5min I was called to counter 13. At the counter the gentleman brought up my file sent from NVC, Went through all docs with me and I told him the 2015 tax transcript. Took my fingerprints and I went back to seat.
I sat again for another 40 minutes before I got called now to counter 15. The Lady told me to take my biometric scan for right finger and acknowledge the Oath which I did.
Now the series of Questions (Not in any particular order but I try to make them flow as asked)
• Who is your petitioner?
• How did you meet her?
• When did you meet her?
• So how did you both get along?
• When did you first get married?
• When was your divorce decree given?
• Why did you get married few months after you got divorced?

My fiance checked his laptop at the pharmacy down the street but was allowed to take his phone in with him. He arrived at the embassy at 12:30pm for his 1:00pm appointment, quickly made his way through the line and into the embassy he went. He texted me by 1:00 telling me that his documents had been checked and he was now waiting to be called for the actual interview. I think he waited about 45 minutes and said that the gentleman at the window was quite friendly. He asked him the usual - how we met, how often we've visited one another and then asked who a few of the people in various photographs were. They were photographs that we sent in with our original I129F package. After about 2-3 minutes at the window, he was told, "Congratulations! You're approved!"

After reading so many helpful and useful reviews on here I thought I would update my experience.
My interview was on Thursday 21st April, scheduled interview time was 1pm. I arrived at the embassy about 11:45am it was sunny so thought I would get there early and enjoy the sunshine and also meet with a fellow VJ-er. Embassy staff came out just before Midday, checked my passport/letter and I went through security, advised to take off all jewellery before walking through the scanner.
After this you walk around to the right and up some steps into the building, there you hand in your letter and get assigned your number. The waiting room was bigger than I expected very long with a big screen on the wall. There are a number of windows reminded me of a bank/post office.
About 12:20pm I got called to hand in my documents they took:
Birth Certificate
Police Certificate
Affidavit of Support
Visa sized photo
