First I would like to start by saying THANK YOU to this site for being there for me in times of panic. You were there when I just needed to read about other peoples experiences so that I could prepare myself for EVERYTHING and not to ruin my chances of having my Visa approved. Also I have not found someone in the same position as I was, applying for my EB-1 (or E11) with a beneficiary spouse.
I really do hope this helps someone.
My appointment was at 9am. I had read that this was the busiest time at the embassy so me and my husband had prepared to be there early. We were a little too eager and ended up arriving at 8:15am. There was a blue tent with 2 queues and a random side queue running alongside the square. (it wasn't insanely busy).
In the queue by the square there were attendants helping and checking letters to tell you what to do next. This lady was VERY nice and helpful. She told us we were too early, to go for a stroll come back straight to her at 8... read complete review

My interview was very straightforward, it was booked for 11.30am on Tuesday 21st November. I got to the embassy at about 11am and at 11:15 I went to the tent for US Visas. The lady asked for my interview letter and ticked my name off the list before sending me to one of the security rooms. In there it was much like airport security, they sent my file and anything in my pockets through a scanner and I had to walk through a metal detector. All was fine and they let me through. You have to walk around the outside of the building to the main entrance. Inside the lady on reception asked to see my interview letter and gave me a number (I920) and instructed me to go up to the waiting room.
I waited for approximately 25 minutes before my number was called. The lady at the window asked to see my interview letter, passport, photograph, birth certificate, police certificate, I-134 and fiancés employer letter. She also took my fingerprints (it took forever to get my right hand - ... read complete review

Firstly I'll just say that I'm so grateful to the people who have contributed to this thread before me. Reading all the reviews really put me at ease the day before and helped me know what to expect! Also, they were pretty much all entirely accurate and reflect my own experience, which makes this review I'm writing easier
My interview was scheduled for 9.30. I arrived at 9, spoke to the lady at the desk of the blue visa tent, and she directed me to the correct queue. There are a lot of people around to direct you and ask questions, so you really can't go wrong. I got through security and into the embassy at pretty much 9.30 on the dot. I was called to the first window within 5 minutes (where I handed over my passport, birth certificate, photo and I-134), then sat down for another 15 minutes or so, before I was called up to the second window for my interview. The questions were all really easy, and about my fiancee and our relationship. You rea... read complete review

My appointment at the embassy was at 10am, so I arrived at 9.15ish, thinking that there would likely be a queue for registration outside—which there was, probably 30 or 40 deep. People would pass up their paperwork and passport when they reached the front, they would be signed in, and then asked to stand either in a secondary line parallel to the first, where they would wait to be called into the security booth, or off to the other side, away from the building, if they were early (like I was) for a 10am interview.
I would say it only took 20 minutes or so to reach the front, in which time I’d managed to fix the messed-up clasps in my ring-binder and fish out my passport, DS-160 confirmation and appointment details. I handed those to one of the two ladies at the desk, and she then produced a clipboard from some nether shelf by her knees and highlighted my name, one of maybe 20 on the sheet. I realised after a few seconds that this was the appointment list fo... read complete review
