So my appointment was at 10:30 in the new London Nine elms Embassy. I travelled from Vauxhall tube station and it was around a 5-10 minute walk from the tube station along the riverside. I was super early so I nipped to Waitrose and grabbed a coffee etc and had a look around the outside of the building and the lovely waterfall features etc. I then proceeded to the south entrance where there is a little tent area saying "Visa Services". this was at 950am. A nice lady said "Let him in as it cold and he's only 10 minutes early lol". So I went thru security pretty quick indeed. No liquids etc. I then went to another Q-line system where the lady checked my Ds-160 and signed me in on her system . She then told me to wait inside as its cold again so off I went to another little area. Another Lady then took my passport and Ds-160 and gave me a sticker on my forms with a number, she informed me to go up to the next level in the elevator and turn left and left again. I did as she instructed and ... read complete review

I arrived at the embassy at 9:50am (Appointment at 10:30), I handed over my passport and DS160 to the guy at the tent and went straight in and through security within 3 minutes.
Once I reached the next area I was sent to the front of the queue (I assume everyone else was queuing for tourist visas), the ladies at the desk advised me to take the lift to the 1st floor, once I got there I turned left and followed the signs to windows 19-24 which is the immigrant visa section and was almost completely empty. As soon as I walked around the corner my number was called.
I spoke to a very nice officer who took my documents, my fingerprints etc and we just chatted while he processed everything. He informed me my medical hasn't yet arrived :'( When we were done, he advised me there would probably be a bit of a wait until the 2nd officer sees me so to call Knightsbridge and see what's going on.
I called Knightsbridge and they told me it will be sent ... read complete review

Very quick and efficient once I was seen. Snacks and drinks were there but not available! I was desperate for a drink as I had to wait 3 hours. Security took away my perfume and said they would discard it but the nice man spotted me on my way out and returned it. (Very small glass bottle).

So arrived about 30 mins early for the interview at the new embassy. Was a little nervous but all the staff and even police outside the embassy are very helpful and calm you down!
Proceeded through security, its airport style. They allow small backpacks in BTW. got through security and proceeded to enter the embassy.
Once you walk in, you approach a desk where they ask for appointment letter and passport. they then check these and stick a sticker onto the appointment letter. Your appointment number is on the sticker. Don't lose the sticker!!! They then explain your appointment number to you and tell you where to go next.
You then go up the elevator to the first floor, which has loads of interview windows. The Immigrant visa windows are left out of the lift and round a corner. Once there, you sit and wait for your number to appear.
Once your number appears (took around 15 mins for me) you proceed to the window where they chec... read complete review
