We got to embassy around 9am for a 9:30 interview. Line of about twenty people and they only let five people in at one time. We were in security and in the main buliding at about 9:20. We got a number and took a seat. At 9:30 they called us to a window. I could see my 300 page stack of documents on the other side of the window. They ask my wife for some more documents and told us to have a seat. About five min. later they called us back up. I had not done a DS-260 for her eight year old son. The lady informed us this would have to be done for his visa.We sit back down and they called us up to a different window about twenty min. later. The man talked to my wife in Russian and told her she could get a visa but her son could not until they had the DS-260. He explained things to me in English and told us if we could get it done today they could issue the visas. He said he would need to speak to her son. I got a little angry over this. I explained her son was only eight years old and di... read complete review

I went with Nataliia with her for her interview. We arrived around 745am for a 8:30am interview. We went through security, and had to leave our cell phones at security. We got our ticket number and waited about 10 minutes to be called up to the window. Nataliia gave all her paperwork, and did fingerprints. Then a few minutes later she was called to a second window and did the interview with the officer. I went up with her and he asked if I was the petitioner and I said yet. He said to have a seat. He asked her if her parents were going to the US for the wedding, and how many times I have been to her including where we went. She just stayed focused and looked into his eyes the entire time and answered about 5 questions. She got a piece of paper saying she would get her visa in 5 days. Her interview was on Thursday, Monday it was approved, and then we could pick it up on Tuesday. Overall very easy, simple, and quick. We were done by 9:15am.

My fiancee Arrived in at the embassy around 7:15 a.m. her appointment was at 8:30. She said maybe around 20 people waiting, she was let in around 7:45 waited until 8:15, talked to a lady who was very friendly asked for her documents and was told to wait to be called. A man called her name asked her when I was last there and if she has ever been to the states and was approved. Overall painless experience and friendly staff. The lady noted how well the documents were organized, she said it was a big plus. The whole process took about 30 mins.

My Fiancee, Vera, had her enterview today and sent the following report:
Dwight everything went so fast, easy and simple that I could not come to my senses!
Generally, we arrived very quickly! At 7:00 we were in Kiev at the metro station, we had to drive all three stops, so we got to the embassy where it is a quarter to eight.
When we were there we saw that people have already begun to run inside,
5 people, there are 2 security guards who check profile DS-160 and a passport to the questionnaire they checked barcode and then you are admitted to the control, check inside the metal detector, then you go through the yard and entrance to the hall where the employee shows what room you go. Then I waited, very quickly I was invited to the window where I was required to submit all the documents in order. Before I gave the documents to the woman that received them we had very nice conversation!
When she took all the documents she took fingerprints ...... read complete review
