My fiance's interview went well they asked him a couple of questions they had all his paperwork. They finger printed hiim. The interview lasted maybe only a 10 minutes they were professional with him. I had forgotten to send the affidavid of support so at that time they did not keep his passport. With in a week they had the affidavid of support.I call ed the Embassy for a month asking them when they would give us a decison or some sort of word. (it was summer and more busier time for the Embassy due to tourism busy season in europe???) A month later they had asked also for more photos I had only sent in a few with the package I had sent him to start off with. With the initial application I had sent 16 photos I don't know if those didn't get forwarded on to the Embassy or not but with in the same week I sent them 100+ photos. But the same week they arrived I came to visit my fiance and went made a little unscheduled visit to the Embassy. I didn't need a an appointment I brought my passp... read complete review

Our interview day started off very stressful when the train that my finace was taking to the appointment had electrical problems and never made it to connection point. She was able to contact a friend and eventually got the interview but almost an hour and a half late. She was very worried that they would make her reschedule but they were understanding and allowed her to submit the papers and asked her to return after lunch for the interview. She returned at the assigned time and had to wait an about an hour longer to meet with the interviewer. She said he was very kind and was asking very appropriate questions regarding our relationship. The interview was a pleasant conversation for her. He was making her feel very comfortable and telling her things that she should visit and places she will like once she is in the US. She said the entire interview lasted less than an hour and at the end, he tells her that everything looks good and she should be recieving her packet in the mail ... read complete review

I had my interview for the K1-Visa on Oct 19 at 9.00 and it was very quick. First a woman check all my papers if they are complete and then she took my fingerprints. I was glad that the Counselor Officer had time in the morning for the interview otherwise I had to come back in the afternoon. So I just had to wait about 10 min until he called my name at the window. I had to raise my hand and swear to tell the truth and nothin but the truth (I forgot what he said cause it was a little bit weird though, it felt like I was in the court or something) But ofcourse I did swear.

Then he asked me:
- How did you meet your fiance?
- When was the last time you met your fiance?
- When are you panning on getting married?
- Has he ever been to Switzerland?
- When are you planning on getting married? (Yes he asked me again, I didn\\\'t know why but I gave him the same answer again)

Then he told me that I\'ll get my Passport back in some ... read complete review

My appointment was at 11 am in the morning and I was there early enough for it. When I was finally shown to the right person, at 11:15am and handed over all my documents, all he did was to look through them for completeness and then said that I had to come back in the afternoon (at 2pm, I believe) for the interview. I was really not happy at that point because when you get a date and time for an interview you do not expect to be told to come back later again. The interview itself was more a little chit-chat with one of the ladies working at the consulate lasting no longer than 7 minutes, I believe.
So I pretty much wasted a full day due to traveling and waiting for an appointment that in total took about 15 minutes... javascript:emoticon('')
