The interview process was quick and relatively easy. The provided certified copy of the original Jordanian birth certificate was not acceptable so they requested the original birth certificate. This was the one and only exception found. After contacting a family member it was mailed from Jordan to Stockholm and forwarded to the US Embassy. They then issued the K1 Visa in just one day after receiving it.

I had my interview today at 8:30 AM.
I arrived to the embassy at 8 AM because I wanted to be early, when I showed up they asked me to stand by the yellow pole and wait to be called in to security, this took about 2-3 mins.. Once I got called they asked me if I had a cellphone or any other electronics on me, I told them no ( In the email it says that you should not bring any electronics of cellphones, BUT they DO have a storage space for you to put your cellphone in, so you CAN actually bring it. )
I had to show them my passport, and then I got let in and it was like a regular xray like you go through at airports. Super easy.
Once I entered the primary building, I went to window G ( Note, this is at around 8:10 AM and I had my appointment at 8:30 and they still let me go through and start the process ), the lady asked me a few questions: Is the co-sponsor my wife's mother, How long have me and me wife been together, When did my wife move to Sweden, I... read complete review

I'm only writing this review because I had a little bit of a bad experience!
But starting off it was great! I've been to the embassy in Stockholm before when I issued a student visa. So I knew the rules of making sure electronics are off and all that stuff. I actually left all that in the car with my fiancé, which made the security guards very happy and they were so polite telling me that it makes their job a lot easier. With all that, my nerves calmed and I felt confident walking in, for some reason I get nervous in situations like this! I guess a lot of us get nervous for this interview for now reason, it all happens really quick. So nothing to worry about! Anyway, I sat down and waited. After only a few minutes my name was called!
A swedish younger guy around his early 30's asked some questions and started gathering my documents. As I hand him my "personbevis" he strictly said NO, this is wrong! You need the one with your parents on there. So I just took it ... read complete review

Very easy - just make sure you have everything you can possibly get on the list provided. We were unable to get 1 police report from Timor Leste, which was fine, but we didn't have prior military records or the "correct" police report from Sweden. It took us 4 weeks to get it all because they needed to be translated and notartized as well. But once we sent these, the US Consulate mailed the passport with visa in it a week later.

I arrived early to my 8.30 appointment. I stood in line (in my line it was only me, in the other line for non-immigrants there where maybe 10 ppl) Waited for 5-10 minutes until they let me through the security check. headed to window G where I only had to give my printed cover from the adress sheet. and then all the evidence for our marriage. I had a lot of photos plus chat conversations skype logs. rental lease agreement, joint bank statement. Everything nicely put in organized folders. I didn't have to hand over any of the other paperwork like affidavit of support or civil documents cuz my originals where already sent to the NVC. I then had to wait for 5 minutes until I got called up again for the interview. It was a ung lady who did it. first swear the oath. then she asked me maybe a total of 7 questions. When I met my wife for the first time. how the relationship developed. when our marriage was then she said, your visa is approved. I was out from the embassy at 8.45. super quick a... read complete review
