Interview was alright but they did ask not once but twice if this was the first marriage for both. Compared to the B2 visa interviewer who was rude and did not bother to go through my documents last time. Highly recommend visiting them with just your phone and two clear bags with documentation on everything. Take the exact amount of cash with you for the visa fee and a physical print out of the DS 160. Follow the instructions they give you. Don't be thick.
Go early because there's a long line, every single time.

Slower than usual due to COVID protocols, but still, efficient. Employees are pleasant. Was in and out of there in under 2 hours.

There were only 3 people in the queue including me. They wouldn't let me get inside until it's 8.45am. although the interview was supposed to be at 9.00am I had to sit there until 10.30. Once my name was called I was directed to a small room-like partitioned area. The questions were very straight forward How we met, how old is your spouse, where did you spouse live before moving to US, where does your spouse's parents live, how many people were there at your wedding, He did not like describing the answers, just straight forward ones just like his questions. After the interview he gave me a 221g form requesting additional documents (I-864s, Evidence of relationship) submitted them the same day.

My fiance Arunothayan and I (Indravathani) have been waiting for a very long time to find out about his approval for visa. I have started his application back in May of 2018. He had is 1st interview on February 26, 2019. He had to wait to receive other documents. Once he received everything, he turned them in end of May 2019. Please let us know how much longer we most wait for. Thank you very much.

My husband was with me at that time and my baby was 20 days old. My hardest part was waiting outside the building for a long time. That’s because of my husband. He wanted to go early. After that everything went smoothly. We got approved.
