My appointment was at 12:30 and the queue was long and if you are worried about missing your appointment don't worry it seems that they issue the same appointment time to a group of people to process. After entry you will proceed to second floor enter the double doors and proceed to a desk to your right where they will give you the letter of what order they want the application in, attach your photos to the passport, and ensure you are enrolled for return of the passports once you are approved. Immediately after you will queue again in front of three windows where an office worker will review your applications for submission for biometrics and interview. She asked me for the originals of birth certificates, marriage certifica... read complete review

Our interview was at 12:30, so we arrived a half hour early. We were directed to wait in a line outside of the embassy (it was extremely hot this summer). We had not expected to be outside for a half hour, and regretted wearing professional clothes (button up and slacks). Since we arrived early, we were second in line. Once called in, my husband was almost immediately called. I was unable to join him because I brought an iPad, which is not allowed inside, of course. The whole process took about an hour after being called in (an hour and a half, including waiting outside).
I would say that arriving a half hour early is not necessary or even preferred based on our experience. You will be able to spend more of the waiting time inside, rather than outside if you arrive just 5 minutes early, and your total wait time will be about the same. You will also have more time to order your documents properly.
We prepared way more documents than evidently necessary. My... read complete review

Interview was scheduled at 12:30. Not so many people were waiting with us.
They didn’t want any docs copies ( even it was mentioned in instructions ), only wanted docs what we submitted to NVC. Nothing additional. We even prepared updated I-864 with new information and recent 2022 tax transcripts. But they didn’t take it.
Everyone including security guards was very friendly and polite. Had a very pleasant experience.
The guard allowed family members to be together in the building.
We had problem with updating my Ds-260, they gave us one and half hour to update it, come back and start the interview. After running to the closest visa center and asking to use their computer we came back at 2pm and finally completed our interview!
Questions were basic in general but there were some rare ones like:
Which exactly internet resource did we use for knowing each other ? App or website (we met at daring app)
How long it takes us to ... read complete review

Our appointment time was 12:45PM. We showed up around 12PM and were 3rd in line. Once we were let inside, the whole process took less than an hour. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Our interview took maybe 5 minutes. The only questions were how we met, do we intend to get married within 90 days of entering the US, and why we went the K-1 route instead of the CR-1 route. I was then asked to take a seat and my fiancé was advised about human trafficking and domestic violence. I was called back up to the window and told our visa was approved.

We went through the NVC. Original appointment was in March, however, as I could not attend, I set up a new one using the embassy website and was told to ignore the first interview scheduled by the NVC.
The interview was set for 12:45. I arrived at 11:45 and there was no one there and was told to come back at 12:15 (In hindsight, I should have just waited there). By 12:15 the line was already around 20 people long. When you go inside, they take your phone so be sure to bring a book or something. Went to the second floor where i was ushered to wait for the first window. After a 1 hour wait standing in line, I got there and they wanted all the documents that I had submitted to NVC, including a copy of the I864 and supporting docs. Then I waited for another window, where they took my fingerprints.
Finally, I got called up to the last window for the interview. I listened to a few interviews before mine where the applicant had to deal with quite a few questions ... read complete review
