My interview was scheduled for 17 Jan 2018 at 9.30am. I arrived at about 9.05am and approached the guard. He asked me what type of visa I was interviewing for. As I was there for an immigrant visa, I was asked to join the shorter queue just in front of the entrance, as opposed to queueing at the covered waiting area. At the security checkpoint, they checked my appointment letter and my bag and took my electronic devices including earphones and ibanking tokens. I was given a disc with a number, which I would need to collect my items later.
I then proceeded up and went to another security checkpoint where my bag and appointment letter were checked again. I was then told to go to the first room on the left. Upon entering, I was asked what I was here for. For immigrant visa, I got a queue ticket and a list to tell me how to arrange my documents. I was told my number would be called. Husband interviewed and after one day his status changed to Ready! I am very impressed with their speed and quality of work. Prior to his interview, his name has FNU, the embassy corrected this even before we mentioned it. I also emailed them a couple of times and they responded to my inquiry very fast.
This happened during Dec 2016 and I can tell all of you that my husband’s arrival was the best Christmas gift ever!

July 11 08:45 - I had my interview in U.S. Embassy here in Singapore.
I arrived around 08:00 and since it was drizzling the guard directed me to the covered waiting area. There are quite a lot of people already waiting for their turn to be checked by one lady. She checks which kind of visa the applicant is applying and she will ask already what is needed to be handed over for screening.
When it's my turn, she asked which visa and when I told her it's K1 visa, she let me skip the queue and directed me to the entrance gate.
I went through baggage screening and they let me bring my bag, foldable umbrella and my big folder. The guard just asked me if I have any electronic device so I handed him over my cellphone together with my house keys. They gave me a number card for later collection. After that, i was told to proceed inside the embassy.
I'm quite familiar with the place already as I also had my B1/B2 visa approved on the sam... read complete review

The people were very nice. The interview was fast and the only problem is that they misplaced our Cenomar at first. It was found and the Visa issued very quickly.
