Well where to start.
The interview.
Evgeniya got to the Embassy at 7:3 am, and was the first there. At 8am they went ahead and proceeded in.She was searched and was ushered in for the interview a couple of hours later. She was interviewed by a lady who was very plesant.She spoke to her in Russian, Evgeniya answered in English which the interiewer commented about and was happy with.
She was asked the following questions.
1. Where did we meet? Evgeniya went into detail about our meeting in St.John and the pictures, as well as working together in Maryland.
2.What did she like about me? That I hope took her a long time to answer. She did show her a scrap book that I had put together of our trip to London with pictures and souveniers. The interviewer took this and showed it to the rest of the staff at the embassy. She seemed very impresed with the effort we have so far put into the relationship.

My wife's interview was scheduled for 8am (as well as about 15 other immigration visa-related cases). They only allow the intending immigrant inside the consulate, so I had to wait outside. Once they started allowing people inside the consulate, she passed through security and picked a number (her "place" in line). They didn't point this step out to her before, so by the time she realized she needed a number, she was dead-last to be interviewed. (I had to wait outside the consulate for about three hours  ).
The interview was with a woman. The first question was, "Who is Don Jxxxxx?" (My father). She answered correctly. Then, the interviewer asked how my wife and I met. My wife told her the story and explained that I had been living in Russia with her for the last year working and helping my wife through this whole visa process. That was it. Larisa said the lady was very nice and even showed emotion when she asked her daughter Lena a question. Lena's answers where brought emotion to this ladies face. Most question asked where in this forum. Her last statement was you will recieve your visa in 1-2 weeks. Larisa then reponded "does that mean I will be with my man in America?" She responded "yes you can be with your man in America". Larisa said she had a big smile from this question.

I submitted the checkout list on the 24.03.2007, and already on the 26.03.2007 I got a phone call from the Consulate, my interview was scheduled on the 29.03.2007.
Though they were not completely happy with my paperwork (Apostille on my birth certificate was not translated, some translations were attached to the originals and not to the copies), they accepted all my papers. The CO was very friendly. And I was allowed to keep my passport and send it later, so I did not have to cancell my pre-planned Easter vacation!
And afterwards they were very nice to inform me by email that my visa was ready and on the way to me

My fiancee walked out from the Embassy in Moscow, where she had very strange interview. She was told at the end, they will think whether to give her visa or not. The thinking process will last between 2 to 3 weeks.
Not sure about sequence of questions, but these are some of those she was asked:
1. She was asked (with raised voice) whether she knows that I filed two petitions for Russian fiancees before. She said, yes she knows because I told her a while ago, and she has no problems with this.
2. Another question: why she wants to marry me. I hope she answered well :-)
3. How many times I was in Russia meeting her? She said: three times: July, August, November, and we spent 10 Christmass days in Europe together. Apparently, this is not enough, in interviewer's eyes. She (interviewer) was not interesed in seeing our photos together (about 20 from all these visits).
