The whole experience was very smooth and pleasant (even though I still stressed out . My visit lasted exactly 45min from the moment I entered the door. There's really no need to show up early, seems like they're very well organized nowadays. There was no line outside the Embassy like I was used to seeing. And once inside, there were only 3 people before me and 2 consuls working on the cases.
At first each interviewee is asked to one window where a Polish lady pulls out their file and organizes it for the consul. She asked me some technical questions - like when we'd gotten married to establish whether I'd be eligible for CR1 or IR1, then informed me of the need to lift the conditions two years from now. She also took my fingerprints and asked me to wait until my number showed up above the consul's window.
The lady consul inteviewing me was smiling at me the whole time. She was very nice. After taking the oath all questions I was asked wer... read complete review

I hope some can gain some insight from this review. I don't want to mislead people and hope that they are not late to such an important meeting but my wife got lost in Warsaw (Using the GPS!) and called me in a panic asking for help to find another address to put in the GPS as the Street the Embassy is on changes names three times within a few blocks.
Anyway, she was going to be late so I called the embassy (it was 4 AM local time for me!) The woman I spoke with was very nice, she said don't worry if your wife is late it is not a problem, she said she could show up in the afternoon it was still not a problem. So called the wife back and told her to stop running red lights, no hurries!
Other reviews are good and accurate so I won't add too much more except that I was kind of shocked about one aspect of the interview process. I thought in my mind that the "Actual Interview" took place in a private office with maybe a closed door. I was shocked to find out t... read complete review

Everything took about an hour. Interview portion of it lasted only about 10 minutes and asked the basic questions.

Everything took about 1 hour. First, I was directed to a window where a Polish lady asked me for the crucial documents. Then, I was ordered to pay the 350USD visa fee at a different window. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the interview with a CO. It was a nice your American woman who asked how we met, where does my fiance work, how long he lived in Poland and if he speaks Polish. That's it. They did not care about my fiance's bank letter or the letter from his employer. Everything was pretty stress-free and simple. Good luck on your interviews!

Interview went very well. Our interviewer was very nice, approachable and was ready to work with us when we figure out that we were missing 1 paper. He asked literally 2 questions: what is your name (and etc.) and when are you planning to come to US. that simple. Great job Poland Embassy!
