My interview in the Warsaw Embassy was quick and easy.I was asked only a few questions about my plans in the USA and how I met my fiance. The conversation was very smooth and the consul (in my case it was a woman) was friendly. However, she forgot to give me the paper to sign so I had to return there after alredy leaving the building but thats a small detail
The only inconvenience may be the waiting part.I had my interview set for 9:30 but I had to wait til around 10:30 for the actual interview. The interview itself lasted no more than 10 mins.
Thank you Warsaw Embassy!

The embassy experience
My appointment was at 09:30 but to be sure I showed up just after 08:00. To my horror I found my aftershave had leaked in my bag and now created a stench cloud around me whenever I moved the bag - to the great annoyance of anyone sitting near me.

Stage 1 - security and "check in"
At security you need to hand in your cell phone and any other electronic equipment - if you don't have a watch you can say goodbye to any sense of timekeeping during the whole process.
Before you enter the main room your invitation is checked again. You are not given a number - you need to go to one of the active interview booths, wait for the person currently using it to finish and ask for a number card to be printed.

Stage II - document check
First off the document check, signing and so on - it went ok apart from a couple of hitches - I didn't get the 157 form - so I had to fill that out on the go. Filled in everything and was t... read complete review

Fiancee's Interview Experience:

I came to the main gate at 8am, there were only 2 people in front of me waiting outside. First the guard looked at my invitation letter and passport and then told me to go inside. Then, there was the police control and at the end I was told to go and stand in a 'red' line. After a moment I came to another room, (the waiting room). First I went to get my number (these are windows from 8 to 10) then I was waiting for my number to be displayed on the board.

When I saw my number I went again to the window, gave the woman my passport, medical tests packet (no need for X-ray),two signed visa photos, my original long form birth certificate, forms ds 156 and 156k, form I-134 and DHL form already filled in and signed by myself. And again I waited, this time to take my fingerprints. When my time came, they took my fingerprints and instructed me to go to another window to pay the visa fee ( US $131).

After completing th... read complete review

Very painless process. Nice and professional staff.

Questions were: When did you meet?
When do you plan on leaving to the states?
Where will you live in the states?

3 minutes total for the interveiw. Come prepared and things will go well.
