we were aproved!!!!!
After 2 hours waiting, the lady asked us when did we meet? how long we were living together? Where did we meet? We said Naples.
For one moment we were nervous, but after she saw all our paperwork, she said: i am going to give you the visa.
Just say the true and everything is going to be fine

We had our interview on July 26, 2007. It was an 8:30 appt. We got there about one hour early. They let us right in with no waiting. We sat down on the benches that are positioned the wrong way and waited. 20 minutes later we got called to window 12. She asked for her passport,156 and 156k, then told us to sit back down. Please be aware, the embassy will send you a 156k supplemental form in Spanish..it is not the same form you see on any website (VJ or Government) You need to fill out that form and not the one page form from the websites. After a 40 minute wait we got called up again to window 12. She asked for the rest of our documents and asked her some simple questions...(When did we meet? How long?? How many times have we met in person?).I tried to give them a CD with our instant messaging history since it was over 1000 pages, but was told they are unable to insert any CD into their computers. It was not a problem though since all she wanted was the pictures. I gave them 3 years of... read complete review

APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On July 10 Roxana and I got the visa. For us, the process was quick and easy. We arrrived at the embassy at 7:40 for the 8:45 appointment. The guard outside asked only to see our appointment paper. We were inside the in under 5 minutes. In about 15 minutes they called us up to ask for some documnets. Called again in a few minutes to ask for one more. We sat and talked with another women trying to get a K-3. At 8:40 we were called to window 9 for an interview.

The man asked Roxana 8 questions.
- How we met? HOw many times I had been to Peru? Had she been married? Any kids? Why she had once visited another country? If she had been to the US? What kind of work she does? and don't remember the other.

The man asked me: Where did I work and my position? He then looked down at the paperwork then looked up smiled and said we were approved. It happened so quick we were shocked. We were approved at 8:45. The time of... read complete review

I did my interview without my husband-to-be.

My interview was at the US embassy in Lima at 8:45 am, and I arrived at 7:20, and I found a long line outside the embassy. A man soon asked for us to get in lines for 7:30 am appointments, 8 am appointments, etc. I got in the 8:30 line. Then we entered security to go inside the building. Then they separated us by tourist visas and immigration visas.

I was lucky I found a seat; I was very nervous! About 10 minutes later, they called my name to go to Window #9. A young woman asked for my passport, medical exam, all the papers the embassy told us to fill out and my fiancee's I-134 and tax papers. She told me to take a seat and wait to be called again.

In another 30 minutes, another woman called me and asked me if I had been in the U.S. before. This made me very nervous because I had been denied a tourist visa to the U.S. about 10 years earlier. I told her about this, and she wrote it down. Then she a... read complete review
