My wife had her interview for CR-1 this morning. She arrived at the consulate around 6:30 AM and reached embassy around 7:45 AM (it took this long because of the huge queue she had to wait in for shuttle service). They asked for her interview letter at the security check and was seated in waiting area. Few minutes later, she they took her finger prints and told her to wait again. 20 minutes later she was called on a window to submit her passport. Again, after next 20 minutes she was called to submit police certificate and finally after about half hour she was called by a CO for her interview. They asked her the following questions
-How long you have been married?
-Husband's name?
-Date of marriage?
-How did you guys meet?
-Do you have kids?
-Where does your husband work in USA?
-What's his job title?
-Where do you live in Pakistan?
-What's your husband's favourite food?
After all the questions answere... read complete review

Woke up at 6:30 am. Left house at 7:00am. Got to shuttle at 7:15 am. Got to embassy by 8:30 am. The time given on the paper is not accurate interview time. Was with my husband. Checking was easy for me, seperated women from men. Then told me to sit while sent my husband to another room for fingerprint. Then went to another room, waited to be called paid fee. Then sat again, called again looked at file then looked at me and asked who was I, looked at my passport. Then asked me how long I been here in Pakistan, if I worked? Then again told us to sit down and be called again. Then called, an American lady and translator; took the interview took our oath. Then told me to sit while interview my husband. Asked him how we met? what he saw in me? If he travelled outside of Pakistan? Then told him to call me, then came said congrats you passed interview but we will not give you the visa yet. You will receive your visa in 4-5 weeks. But overall good service especially to American citizens. Did'... read complete review

Went to the interview and the officer was very thorough and asked so many questions. He asked how I met my wife since she actually grew up most her life in PR. He asked me how many kids she had. I told him "we have three kids". He asked me so many maybe 30 questions about me and my beautiful wife. Then he said "you are approved sir and you will get your visa back with your passport in a few days". I called them and they said that the visa printed after "8 days". I got very luck on this because I thought I'd get Admin. Pro. but I totally lucked out. Maybe because I prayed so hard and answered each question to my level best. Good luck to everyone at the embassy and hope my review is enlightening to you. I get to go to see my beautiful kids soon and meet my other family. I am so happy thank you for all of your support!

Smooth interview but admin processing required.
CO was polite.
Admin processing took nearly 15 months.
Though it took us very long to get visa but overall CO attitude was good.
