The interview went well, it was challening because the officers are really tough on male applicants. He got put in AP, but the officer seemed confident that he would get his visa. The process took a very long time though, he was waiting for 8 hours at this consulate. It is a very very long tiresome day.

Husband had interview on 7/7/11. Consular officer asked very few questions and did not look at pics or phone records. Kept his passport and gave token to send documents and different pics as they were not the right size. Consular is waiting for documents related to the funding sources of my 4 trips to Pakistan, even though I DID NOT EVEN MEET MY HUSBAND UNTIL THE END OF MY 3RD TRIP! I never saved any documents related to my trips as I did not know I would need them. I had no idea I would be getting married while I was there and I also I never paid myself for any of my trips, so no access to bank records. I have sent them an email asking what I should do since I do not have this info.
Questions asked:
What's your wife's name?
How and where did you meet?
Has she been married before?
She is older than you, you don't have a problem with that?
What do her parents do?
Why do you not have a Pakistani girlfriend or wife? ... read complete review

So my husband had his interview a couple of days ago. He said he was the first one to be called so it went quick. Asked him if he had the 2010 tax papers and he said no, just the 2009. Then she gave him back the 2009 papers we submitted and started the interview...
1)Where is your wife?
2)What does she do?
3)Is she working?
4)How many siblings does she have?
5)How many people is her father supporting?
6)Any kids?
Then she looked at our photo album and pictures of our daughter.
Handed him a green paper and red token, said we'll contact you if we need anything else and will inform you about your visa in a MAX 3 months, can be in 5-6 weeks...
But this is a CRAZY, HORRIBLE process so no clue when we'll actually get the Visa and be United. I hate this.

Wife had interview on June 1st, 8 am. Got there on time, had to go through all the security stuff of course. She didn't have to wait long. The standard asking for passport, medical. The interviewer only asked her very basic questions like where I lived and where I worked. Then, interview told her she could pick up her passport or have it delivered to her home in 1-2 weeks in Karachi.
