My interview experience (Alhumdulilah) has been really good at the Islamabad US Embassy. I am the beneficiary (female) and had my interview at 11 Jul 2013. My interview timings as per the letter were 8:00 am therefore I reached the embassy around 7:30 am. Went through long queue for Biometrics and around 9:30 am I was in the waiting room, waiting for my interview call. Around 10:30 was called up for interview. The interviewer was an American lady who asked me the following questions.
1. Please show me your wedding photos?
2. Was your marriage love or arranged?
3. How did you know your husbands family?
and that was it! She said my case looked perfect and she has approved my visa. Would receive my passport with in two weeks via American Express :D
Which by the way didnt happen to be two weeks. I received my passport the next day i.e. on 12 Jul 2013 :D wooohooo at their speed!!
I wish all of you best of luck and May... read complete review

Interview was on May 21, 2013. My wife was asked basic questions and a chinese officer looked at all the pics in the album. After the interview she was given a green paper asking for new joint sponsor and new passport pics that show hair and ears. I sent new joint sponsor papers on june 10 via islamabad courier service and after 3 emails within the past month, they issued the visa today july 1st. I checked my status online and it shows issued. During this whole process at embassy, my wife's status showed in administrative processing since the interview until today.

My wife visited for a CR-1 interview, got on shuttle, went through security, was fingerprinted, got a number, sat in a waiting area, was called, gave her medical, passport, original nikah nama, and fingerprints, and was given a number. She was called to a window, spoke to a lady (CO) and was asked the following:
1) Where does your husband live?
2) When did you first meet your husband?
3) Have you ever been out of the country?
4) Have you ever been arrested or involved in a crime?
5) How did this relationship start? Was it an arranged marriage?
6) How can you tell the marriage will last?
She told my wife that your case is fine, we have everything we need, but we need to go through administrative processing. My wife asked how long, CO said 3-6 months . She gave my wife back all of the original documents but kept the passport (the CO didn't mention they were keeping the passport). She didn't give her any 221g paper of any sort, i'm ... read complete review

Today I had my interview at US embassy Islamabad. CO didn't ask many questions. He asked only few questions and looked at our Son's Birth certificate. He asked
Has your wife ever been to Pakistan?
Is this your first marriage?
Have you ever been arrested for any crime?
Have you ever been to any other country?
that's it. He refused to look at the pictures too. He didn't request for anymore documents either.
He said at the end that your case is fine. We have to do extra Administrative Processing on your case and it can take couple months :o He gave me a green slip.
