Our interview was scheduled on 26th October 2015.Everything was fine except for the missing DS-260 forms of the two applicants.Consular officer gave us 221-g letter stating to complete the DS-260 forms and then our visa will be issued. We completed it on the same day and sent it to our consulate. Our case was under administrative processing since two months. We didnt get any response from our consulate till two months ,than we email them back about our case. Our case updated on 17th Dec and than it changed to Ready next day, after couple of days it changed back to administrative processing. Then they email us and called two of the applicants to Islamabad Embassy for finger prints. That interview didnt go well, since our first interview only a principal applicant was under administrative processing but after second interview all the six applicants status changed to administrative processing, please let me know what is happening with our case.

For my wife's interview.
We both got to the DSS at 5:20 am on a very cold december morning in Islamabad. Stayed in car until about 5:50 am. Got in line at the gate on foot which was pointless as once the gate opened everyone rushed in at the same time.. like they always do in Pakistan. Inside, more lines formed to purchase tickets. Stood in US embassy ticket purchase line for about 20 mins, when a very smart and observant fellow US Citizen and fellow NYer who was also there for his wife's moral support noticed that there was an abandoned "women's only" line. So we both decided to have our wives stand there. Smart move as pretty soon a lot of people followed suit and a huge line formed there consisting mostly of women only. I say, mostly because a few men in Islamabad apparently take the gender equality thing seriously and got in the woman's only line without shame. My friend's wife, followed my wife were the first ones to be able to purchase tickets on the shuttle. Yay!<... read complete review

Hey guys,
Here is my interview experience.
My interview was on Dec 16th, 2015. My wife (petitioner) was with me on the interview day. We reached the visa shuttle at around 5.45am and the staff told us that the gates will open at 6.15am. So we had to wait in the car as it was freezing cold outside. There were around 5-6 people waiting outside before we reached; however by 6.15am approximately 25-30 people were already there. At 6.15am the gates were opened and we got into queues where tickets are issued. There are separate counters for different countries. The counters opened at 7am and we bought two tickets (each ticket was PKR 200/-). Once you get the ticket you have to deposit cell phones on the very last counter on your left. After the security check we boarded the first bus to the embassy. Its a good 10-15 min ride and once you reach the embassy there are a few security checks. Once you enter, the first thing is token number issued. After that we have ... read complete review
