Received an interview date for June 27, 2023 after requesting expedited processing. Appointment time was 7:30am. I arrived at the shuttle services area at 6:00am. The shuttle area needs a lot of improvements and maintenance. My turn to get on the shuttle came late after my scheduled appointment time. Paid 5000k PKR for car service as there was no option to go on the bus.
Everyone inside the embassy was kind and courteous. I waited for quite a while before my token number was called. I had gotten my medical exam done at Wilcare in Lahore on June 22, 2023, but they did not send my results to the embassy on time which was the cause for delay so I suggest scheduling a medical exam as soon as you get your interview letter.
I selected Urdu as my interview language. The CO interviewing me was American who was assisted by a Pakistani interpreter.

It went too smooth Alhumdulilah, my time was 8:30 but they interviewed me around 11:15am but it was hardly 10 to 15 minutes long, they asked point to point questions!

My father applied for me to F2 (Unmarried son/daughter of US citizen) and my case approved in Sept 2015 then I got married in 2018 and the National Visa Centre Embassy Islamabad changed my status to F3(Married sons/daughters of US citizens) now the question is how long it will take more in years to approve my case status in F3 category as I also select follow to join instead of accompanying my family for USA.I have also submitted my marriage certificate,affidavit of support documents alongwith joint sponsor documents and passport copy to US immigration.Another thing is that from 2013 to 2016 I have worked in USAID Conflict/Civilian victims support program and now I left the job and doing job at Home & TA's department peshawar(Govt Organization) but still receiving threats from Taliban and other terrorist organizations

The interview was scheduled for 730am. I arrive around 650am directly to the Embassy and was asked by the guard to wait until 705am. After that I went inside where they took my passport, 2 passport photos and wedding certificate and asked if I would interview in English or Urdu. I was then called to a different counter where they took my fingerprints. After a short wait I was called to another counter where they did my interview. They asked for pictures and asked me to identify different people in the wedding party. I was asked questions about my husband's employment, place of birth and citizenship status, living arrangements, how we met, dates of our engagement and wedding. The interview took about 10-15 minutes and the entire process took right about 1 hour. Everyone inside was very polite.
