The embassy itself was fine. I accompanied my fiance so we kept each other entertained while waiting until almost noon before his interview. My only issue with the embassy was that our original interview date was set for July 7, but we didn't receive the notice until July 13 or 14th because it had to travel to Kabul. I did email immediately and got a new date emailed to me within a day or two, though.

The interview was done by a black American guy who mostly verified the information, and asked only two question.

When did you get married?
How long have you been married?
Also, asked to see the wedding pictures.

Information he verified was

Is your name this XYZ
Is your husband name XYZ

There was no fee charged for the fingerprints. she was at the embassy at 6:30, and was done with everything by 12:00 PM

Hi!
My visa interview was on 7th august at 8:00. I got to the embassy by 7:30..i got a car permit made, so didnt have to wait for the bus to take me to the embassy. I was in the embassy waiting room by 8:00 and my finger printing done. The COs came at 8:30. I was called twice to submit my documents before i was interviewed. The CO only asked me 3 or 4 questions:
How long have i been married?
Where does my husband live?
and lastly CO saw the wedding pics and told me that congrats you have got the visa.
I was out of the embassy by 9:00.
Two days later i picked up my passport with the visa stamped on it
