Got to the embassy by 6am for my 7am appointment. I waited outside till about 7.30am.when we were called in to the waiting section opposite the embassy. Presented the email for my appointment and was given a card with a number on it. Filled a small form (name, petitioner’s name, address, email, phone number). Sat down in the waiting area for about 30-40mins.

Finally went into the embassy (no phones allowed)! Was asked to go pay visa fees first (I paid N21,000 which is $131). Waited again for about 40mins for my number to be called. Was called in at about 9am. The waiting still continues but this time you can here others being interviewed (many were denied or put on AP).
My number was finally called after about 1hr of waiting.
A nice young gentleman, requested for the small form I filled earlier, my passport, DS-156 and DS-156k, marriage certificate and photocopy, birth certificate and photocopy, police certificate, medical report, passport photo, affida... read complete review

I am so glad to share my good news with all my VJ's family. My husband had his interview today in Lagos, I received a call at 4:46 this AM, and he told me his interview was a sucess. He said the CO was nice, she asked him about five questions. My husband was well prepared I mail him all phone bills, text messages, photos, etc. He said he had the photo album in his hand and the CO requested to see it. She looks at the photo and ask him when we took the photo and who was the people in the photo with us. While she was looking at the photo, she ask him for prove of relationship. My husband said he was about the hand her the phone bill and texts, and the CO told him he should hold it for later. After that she was taping and left her seat and when at the back, when she came back to her desk, she told him congrats and for him to pick up his visa next 11/25/09. The Co didn't even look at the phone bill and text. I am so excited and can't wait to see my husband soon. Thanks again to all my VJ's... read complete review

All in Embassy were friendly except woman behind window 15. She woke up on the wrong side of the bed the morning of my fiance's interview. Not even returning his greeting when he stepped up to her window. Nevertheless his visa thankfully was only suspended and not "denied" by her.

My husbands interview was on November 9th at 10am. He arrived wayyyyy before his interview time. The waiting area is arranged in a way that when the interviewer is interviewing, everyone waiting to be called can hear everything being asked. I guess they do that to intimidate people that are not sincere during their interview process. It's easier to lie in front of one person than a large group of people. I just hope none of you get the Asian lady, my husband said she was tough and didn't approve not one person while he was there waiting. My husband was interviewed by a white guy that was very good at what he did. My husband said he wasn't mean but he had a way of asking questions to ensure sincerity and was thorough. The questions are as follows but the interviewer elaborated a little on each with other small questions:
HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR WIFE?(know the exact chat room if any)
HOW LONG HAVE THE TWO OF YOU KNOWN EACH OTHER?
HOW MANY TIMES SHE CAME?
WHY HAV... read complete review
