My fiancé interview was at 7am. He arrived at 630am and went straight inside. He was interviewed by and African American female CO. He was only asked 5 questions
1. Who's filing for you? Name of the petitioner
2. How did you meet?
3. What are your plans for marriage?
4. Have you or your petitioner ever been married?
5. Do we have kids?
CO responded everything seems good to me. She handed him a white paper and told him his visa would be ready in 10 working days

hello everyone,
Thank you to visa journey which made me prepare well for the interview
my interview was at 7am, though i got there at 6.45 and met a very LONG queue.
joined one of the three lines formed and a man called out those who were there for 7am interview, i got to the front and had entered the gate but was turned back at the security check because i had not opened the medical envelope, had to go back outside to join another queue till one man ha mercy and asked me to go back in,
After the security checks we were asked to sit outside for a while before we were asked to finally go in
My documents were checked by a nigerian who asked a few questions, went through my documents and asked me to sit and wait for my interview
Finally i was called at 9.55 am all this while na stand i day stand o

I need an urgent respond. my question goes this way........
I did my medical sumtime last year December and i was given my medical report to the Embassy and my own personal copy. I gave Embassy the copy of my Medical report and my visa was approved on d day of my interview....as i was happy i dont know how i misplaced my own medical copy. i wanna know if my own medical copy will be needed at the POE JFK New York.

The consular officers went back and forth with each other and what looked like discussing our file. My very patient fiancé' sat and watched the others which came in after him and have their interview. After waiting around several hours his number was finally called. The consular begin with asking him various questions about how we met and how often I come to visit. The consular later began making false accusations and drawing a conclusion about our relationship which was getting very offensive. By the end, the consular did not give my fiancé' a real decision at that time. However, I had to reach out to my local congressman's office in Virginia who reached out to Lagos Consulate's office on our behalf. It was later determined that he was not eligible for the visa category for which he was applying. Thanks to visajourney members that really post for assistant..here is my story at the embassy. My appointment was on January 12th initial i never knew my appointment date has been change until i got to the Embassy and i was told an email was sent to my fiance to come on 18th January.
Alot of pple were being denied even IR-1/CR-1, i guess maybe sumtin might be wrong with their application. Lagos is very simple and fast when come to IMMIGRANT if your application is well prepared and be your self to be scared much inorder to be able to ask questions ask correctly
