Review Topic: K1 Visa

Arrived for my 7am appt at Walter Carrington around 6;25am.Was raining heavily.Loads of ppl were already there on a line.Around 7am an announcement was made to separate into 2 lines--immigrant/non immigrant. Was 1st on the immigrant line.Went through security checks and submitted my passport,2 passport photos, birth certificate photocopy, affidavit of support and W2,and police certificate. My number tag was 1 however was 4th to be interviewed. All 3 ppl before me were approved so anxiety wasn't so high.Just 2 COs interviewing;both Caucasian and young and VERY pleasant. Was called by the more pleasant of the two. After my oath, she asked me just two questions: tell me about your fiance and how did you meet.
Visa was approved and issued in 3 days.but picked up a week later due to weekend and public holiday.
Im so thankful to God that this journey is finally over and of course to the members of this forum, for all the advice and answered questions,we are beyond grateful.Had a lot of ... read complete review

5. Do you have any nice pictures of you with your wife?
6. Who are in the pictures? I replied my wife's son, they both came for our wedding.
7. She saw pictures of my brother, friends and family with my wife. She asked me who is beside her?

Those were all the questions the CO had for me. The CO gave me some documents to return to my wife. Then she told me my visa has been APPROVED!!! 😁

First, I would like to share that the night before the interview, I sent my love a prayer to say the morning of his interview, and I was praying the same one here. Thanks to the Visa Journey guides and members, our whole process and interview went smoothly and fast for the most part, and while I was not able to be there with my sweet husband in person, I was there in my heart, waiting by the phone and checking his status constantly.

That morning of our interview, my husband got up very early to pray and prepare, and then left to find a cab. When none appeared, he began to walk, all the while praying to be on time. Then when he turned a corner, there was a bike. His prayer was answered! He arrived at the consulate and was third in line. A woman tried to tell him he was in the... read complete review
