I was originally scheduled for September 25th but was able to reschedule for September 4th.

I arrived the consulate as early as 5:30am for my 7am interview. Security checks began exactly 6am and by 7:30am I was already in the main consulate building.

Passport, documents including affidavit of support and finger prints collected. Waiting number was assigned (during pre-screening outside the main consulate building).

At 9am my number was called and a Korean-American male CO interviewed me.

CO;
What is the name of your fiancée?
What is your name (my name)?
How did you meet?
How did she travel to the US?
What year did she travel?
What are her parents job(s)?
What does she do for a living?
Where does she work?
What do you two like doing together?
What books have you two read together?
You wanted to attend a conference in DC last year?
Were you go... read complete review

Tips:
- Arrive early. No matter how early you get there, there will still be at least eight people already there!
- If you can get away with going without electronics or bags, do so. You might lose your hard-earned place in line if you need to secure your things in a rented locker.
- Bring an umbrella in case it rains
- Have your documents organized and ready to go when they ask for them.
- Review the questions in these reviews and go over them with your spouse.

Questions:
How did you meet your wife?
When did you guys start dating?
When did you guys get engaged?
When did you guys get married?
How many times did you guys see each other in person?
Can I see wedding pictures?
Oh, you had more than one ceremony?

Approved!
