All in Embassy were friendly except woman behind window 15. She woke up on the wrong side of the bed the morning of my fiance's interview. Not even returning his greeting when he stepped up to her window. Nevertheless his visa thankfully was only suspended and not "denied" by her.

My husbands interview was on November 9th at 10am. He arrived wayyyyy before his interview time. The waiting area is arranged in a way that when the interviewer is interviewing, everyone waiting to be called can hear everything being asked. I guess they do that to intimidate people that are not sincere during their interview process. It's easier to lie in front of one person than a large group of people. I just hope none of you get the Asian lady, my husband said she was tough and didn't approve not one person while he was there waiting. My husband was interviewed by a white guy that was very good at what he did. My husband said he wasn't mean but he had a way of asking questions to ensure sincerity and was thorough. The questions are as follows but the interviewer elaborated a little on each with other small questions:
HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR WIFE?(know the exact chat room if any)
HOW LONG HAVE THE TWO OF YOU KNOWN EACH OTHER?
HOW MANY TIMES SHE CAME?
WHY HAV... read complete review

Hello my fellow VJ family, our 9 months and 12days journey has ended. My husband had his interview this morning 7:00 am Nigerian time. Entering into the embassy was very smooth. He was there from 7:00am to 11:00 am. The officer that interviewed him was very thorough. He asked him about the university I attended, what state the university is located, how long we have known each other, what I do for a living, “ not just the title” but also my daily duties, what I do after work, how we meet, where I live, who I live with, how many siblings I have, which 1 of my siblings his he close to, how we communicate, our proof of communication, how much it cost him per/ min to call me from Nigeria, and his occupation, the last time he saw me, what we did the last time I came to Nigeria. He also asked for evidence of our relationship, so my husband gave him the pictures but the officer did not look @ them. He went to the back for a few min, and came back with a letter stating the location my hu... read complete review

My fiance got to the embassy early before his 7am appointment. He said everything was orderly, there were no long lines as previously expected and the security personnel were friendly, the COs were also very friendly,he was asked just a few questions like, who i do for a living, where i work, what are my duties at my job, has he met my parents [they are dead]who the people in the pictures we submitted were and he was asked again if my parents approved of our relationship, which to him was odd because he has previously answered that my parents died 12 years ago. He also reinterated what previous interviewed couples have said in older post that one needs to be confident while answering the questions and we thank God, his visa was approved and he will be picking up next week at another location.

Officer asked some rather inappropriate questions such as did his father die because he is marrying a white woman. Wanted to know what my deceased parents did , he said dead people do nothing. The have the K1's show up early in the morning and interview them almost last. What a waste of a day.
