Got to the embassy by 4:35am,realized am the only one there,later people came, at 6:38am they started the queue,we were given instructions,we later went into the waiting pavillion, 'SURPRISE!!! my name is not in the list,later they wrote it,then we went in and was interviewed by the ASIAN LADY.
Questions @ the interview:
-who is petitioning for you?
-how did you meet?
-when?
-where you childhood friends?
-but you attended the same church,how come?
-when did you decide to get married?
-who proposed?
-do you have any pix?
-where was she living when you met?
-what course is she studying?
-which school does she attend?
-what does she do for work?
-where does she stay?
-how did she become a US citizen?
-when did you propose?
-how often do you talk on phone?
-any proof?
-what does she do for leisure?
-what's her favorite music?

Thank God we are approved.My fiance got to the consulated about 5:45. He didnt know ppl were alrad lining up so he was just walking around. He later joined the line but wen the soilders arrived, they told them they dont want any line but the all still stay there. wen he was about to enter, he discovered he had a flash drive in his pocket and was sent to the back of the line. once inside, he said they were just calling numbers @ random. wen he was finally called, (it was a white guy, very nice and polite he said) he brought out all the evidence, 2 binders and an envelop. The CO asked him wot was in there and he told him. We had over 800 pages of phone record, letters, email, bb chats, yahoo chats, evidence of meeting in the last 2yrs etc
CO: Wen did your fiancee traveled
Co: Wen did u started dating
CO: We did u propose
Co: Why so long before u propose( he explained we were both in school wen we started. we have bin together for 8yrs)

Not gonna bother giving any credit to our fellow Americans in Lagos, as they are simply doing their job.
The Consulate's denial was due to vague reasons such as not having a job in Nigeria. Duh ... does one wonder about the desire to move to the States?
I'm disappointed and angry that all our efforts have been tossed out!! javascript:emoticon(' ')

He got to them embassy at 5am but did not get interviewed until 1pm he was asked 3 questions 1st who petition for you
What state she lives in
What are your means off communion
Congratulations pick up your visa next friday.

It went great, all they focused on was pictures of us on our trip to dubai and other documents were addressed. SO TAKE PLENTY OF PICS, TRAVEL TOGETHER AND GOOD LUCK!
