Our story:
My fiancé and I met when we were growing up in a small town, Delta State, Nigeria back in 1993. We lived in the same street as neighbors and became family friends.
In 1997 as a teen he left for the US as He is a Citizen and right then I was an infant. We reconnected in 2009 and met personally in Nov. 2010 and our romance began and here we are
First and foremost I want to give God praise for He proved His faithfulness again! And to all my wonderful friends on VJ u guys are the best God bless y’ all. Was a worthwhile experience at this Phase one of the Journey.

i just want to share my experience with Lagos consulate in this forum.i had my interview on Thursday and it was successful. My opinion concerning applicants for future interview is to stay focus and know more about their fiancee.confidence is the key even when there is redflag, learn how to deal with it when the CO mention or discuss about it.To my surprise after 15 minutes of an argumentative interview,He just asked for my pictures cos my initial application just had 5 and he asked me if i have more pictures and i replied yes.He later asked for my wedding plans which i showed him and he laughed and said congratulations that i should come in 2 weeks for my visa.

Based on my hubby experience:
My fiancee and i got to the consulate at 11:30am in time for the 1pm appointment. At 12:30pm we were asked to line up by the security guards and promptly ushered into the waiting area. Few minutes later after security checks at the gate and we were on our way into the consulate building. Inside the interview room, there were at least 50 people already seated. I took a seat and waited for my queue number to come up the screen. I had to wait for close to 3 hours before i was called eventually. I was the last person to leave the interview room! lol. Anyway, i had time to compose and prepare myself mentally while i waited by listening to other people's interview question and answers., and believe me, while u stand there, getting drilled by these COs, everyone else in the room hears everything you were asked and your responses. Most of the people that were denied was because they couldn't provide convincing answers to the questions. One lady was ... read complete review
