The consulate in Morocco is not certainly far from friendly. The CO was cold and indifferent, wasn't interested in seeing all of the evidence. And handed over a 221(g) with no explanation as to what it was and why. When my husband asked what it was for he said more security checks. When he asked how long he acted really put out and said I don't know and walked off. We feel he was much more interested in proving our marriage is a fraud than in learning the truth. We were instructed by the consulate to go to our local CIS office, so I did. They have no idea why they sent me to them and suggested that we consult with our Congressman. He told me "your husband's petition was approved, he has a right to be here".

It's confusing too, because there are no signs to say Immigration/ACS/Non-Immigration once you leave the security area and enter into the next building. When you get through the big doors in the next building, you are faced with the Cashier( I guess they want you to pay first? ). I got all turned around and had to ask the Cashier where to go. Once inside at the ACS window, they kept me standing for several minutes before the person came to the window. T... read complete review
