Salaam-
My husband had his visa interview on Monday, May 5th, 2008. The month leading to this interview I was a total mess. We practiced questions daily, about 75, for him to only be asked three questions!!! Better to be safe then sorry.
He arrived at 7:30 for an 8:00 am interview. At 1:00 he was called to the window, with his evidence in hand: two photo albums, a binder with over 500 emails, a binder with all his documentation, my moroccan documentation ( card of identity etc..)
The woman who interviewed him commented that based on the prevvious information and his evidence it was clear that we were a married couple, but it was required to proceed with the formalities. She also added that he needed to show all these other moroccan men how to come prepared

My fiance was very happy with how his interview went. His interviewer was an older blonde woman. He said that she was very nice and had a nice conversation with him. She told him that he'd get a call in about 1 week or 2 to pick up his passport with his visa.

My sweet had his interview in Casablanca..thank God I did some research here into other people's experiences, especially with this tough consulate. He was perfectly prepared and spoke fine english. He waited 4 hours to be seen and being the last one, surely his interview was a product of people wanting to leave for the day and just be finished with him...they gave him 15 minutes, tops! they were harsh...it was a woman who did most of the interviewing and she tried to speak to him in arabic but he would only respond in english..they asked few basic questions..they asked for a form he was "supposed" to have but they never sent it in his package, so they gave it to him fill out..funny to me why the consulate originally sent his papers in FRENCH instead of Arabic or English (considering it is an AMERICAN consulate).
He certainly felt rushed...they didnt even bother to look at ANY proof of our relationship, including pix...not even one! They just took our emails, all documents co... read complete review
