My husband had his interview at 9:00 AM. He got there early and there were already people there. He said the security guards were friendly and respectful. They said "Everything will go well." Once inside there is another scan and they scan your belongings. If you have a phone, you have to turn it off and give it to them and they'll give you a slip of paper to get it back. We had heard that you can't bring a bag but he saw girls there with purses so I think that is allowed. We had a lot of questions about how to dress. My husband was wearing pants and a button-down shirt and a sweater. He mentioned that others were more casually dressed.
He did say the guy dressed in more sporty apparel was a diversity lottery winner. Some of the women wore jeans and sneakers. Basically he said that many were just dressed normally. First he had to give the originals we uploaded at the NVC to a woman. At that point you are standing waiting for your name to be called. They called my... read complete review

We received a letter for the appointment on the 17th of December for an interview on the 29th of December. We were lucky to get all the required paper work along with the doctor's visit and the translations prior to the 29th. My Fiancée showed up at the interview and they asked her for a her previous marriage's license, although that was not one of the documents they asked her. They only asked for divorces.
The interview lasted about 10-15 minutes. They asked her about where I work and what I do and what I sale after she mentioned I work in sales. They also asked her how we met and on what platform after she mentioned we met online. They also asked to see some pictures and that was pretty much it for the majority.
They refused her case and asked her to submit the marriage license. After we did submit the documents, they updated our case, but the case still showed refused for an additional 2 weeks. Then the case updated to Admin Processing for around tw... read complete review

Appointment was at 8:00am in Casablanca My wife was there at 7:00. and later she was called to one of the windows. She was grilled by a CO in his late 20s. He asked the usual questions, where did you meet, what does he do, how many times you met, etc... and he also asked for our "1st Skype communication", which we didn't have since it's been so long (almost 10 years ago when we 1st met) and we no longer have that 1st account. We forgot user name, etc...and quickly moved to email and WhatsApp communication later. My wife able to articulate that to the CO, and even showed him emails around that same time frame and WhatsApp messages a bit later, but he kept asking why did you loose that 1st Skype account and kept email correspondence. Her answer was consistent. It's been almost 10 years, she said, we met on Skype, but quickly moved to other means of communication and no longer used that Skype account, hence, we forgot signing credentials and even usernames (which were just random aliases)... read complete review
