I attended the interview with my fiance at the time. The consular officers ignored the fact that he was at the embassy and asked him to sit down and wait. There was one older lady that had a very sarcastic look and everything she said felt like a knife. I presented her with all the documents and the one picture I had and she looked at me and asked with a very critical tone of voice " you only have ONE picture together?" Well I have a bunch but I knew I had to take pictures that were taken from the moment of us filing the petition until the interview. I should have just printed what I had.
Anyways, they gave me the g 221 or whatever that temporary refusal is called because they didn't like the way i listed entry/exit stamps to prove my 2 years home residency requirement. That happened after they had me wait for 3 hours.
After I came the second day, they decided that I needed to stay home for another 6 days...They decided that is what I didn't have in order to satisfy the... read complete review

Took about 3 hours.. Asked several questions..
Where did you meet your Fiancee at..
What attracted you to him
Has he giving you any gifts
And another I can't remember at this time..
But the Interview is the easyist part of this complete process..
You need to check on the transit visa to go to your interview(if your from Moldova).. It could take up to a month to get it and at this time you do need a invite letter from the US Consulate in Romania
Got the Visa the same day..

Princess had her K-1 interview at the US Consulate in Bucharest, Romania. The medical exam also was conducted there, one day before the interview. It was necessary to travel by train from Moldova to Bucharest the night before the interview. After interview, Princess went home that same evening. The place of the medical examination was close to the consulate. We found her a hotel that was only about 150 meters from the US Consulate. They advised her to bring a translator, even though she had been studying English for several months. The translator was useful. It was necessary to wait several hours for the interview. The interview was short and the interviewer was pleasant. The questions were clear and direct, and there were no trick questions or aggressive questions. It was a good experience. The visa was given to Princess at the end of the interview day.
