I can definitely say that the interview I had in Bucharest was the easiest part of the whole visa process! The people working there were very nice and kind to me. My interview was scheduled for 1 pm. I was the first one who got inside the embassy. By 1.10 pm there were already 16 persons inside, all for different types of visas. I was the youngest and the only one who spoke English out there. One by one, we were called to a certain counter. I was called for 4 times: 1) to present the forms: 2 of DS-156, DS-156K and I-134; his taxes for 2008; my birth certificate (the original and the photocopy); my police report (the original and the photocopy); my medical results and the proves of the relationship. I signed and dated the forms right on the counter; 2) to have my finger printing (the lady was very nice); 3) to pay the visa fee ($ 131); 4) to actually have the interview, which lasted for maximum 1 minute. Everything was mostly fine. The only issue had to do with an original translated birth certificate. Our lawyer sent in a copy of the translated document. The document collector made it sound like it was a problem, but in the end they accepted the document that was sent in and didn't say anything more about it.
I was there during the interview, so we were asked very few questions. Much less than any of the other people there. Total wait time was 3 hours, but we were pretty much the last ones called up.

Hello everybody!
I had my interview on 24 july, i can say was a pleasant experience.
The day before the interview i got my medical exam at the Bio-medica international,They did some blood tests,x-ray checked my weight and height, my eyes and in the end a general doctor checked me cos he was the one thats works with the embassy.ohh and also i got a cancer vaccin,that is for the girls not older than 26.
Well the next day i had my interview, i got there at 12, but my appoiment was at 1 pm, so i waited 1 hour,until one guy came out from there with a list and called peoples name,then we came in, they checked us worse than in an airoport lol. Then u give yr passport to the counter 5 or 6(depends)and wait again to be called,in the mean while they called me to take my fingerprints at the counter 1, then again i sat down ,i waited around 1h and 30 min,then i was called by the US Consul ,she said to rise my right hand and to swear im telling the truth blah blah and she be... read complete review

Fellow Petitioners and beneficiaries,
I am writing you from the other side of the beurocratic fence. Me and my beatiful very soon to be Moldovan fiacee have successfully jumped through every firey hoop that the public official nay sayers have presented us. The interview was by far the easiest and quickest part of this painful epic which is all of our story. I am the petitioner from St.Louis Missouri United States Of America(Holler)and this is my first and only blog on this site. I personally was able to come to Moldova and meet my new family in person which
is the manly and correct thing to do in addition to traveling to Bucharest for the interview. Outside of being a confused man in a foreign land it was no more dangerous than a drunk night stumbling around the East side lookin to catch a case.
