My husband went to the Clinica Medica Internacional. He said that they opened their doors at 5am to let people into the lobby. It is first come first serve and they give you a number. They checked his passport, interview letter, and vaccination records. Next, by 5:30, they have you go to the actual clinic where you have to sit in order of your numbers. Then you have to wait until 6 for them to start the exams. He said at 6 he had to go back to the lobby and show the paperwork again and they keep the paperwork at that point and give you an ID bracelet and take your picture for a registry. Then they send you to the lab where they draw blood. Next you go so they can check your vision. Next, you wait for your turn with the doctor for the physical. You strip to your underwear and socks and they give you a general physical. The doctor asks if you've been in touble with the police, drugs, etc. Then you have to take your underwear off and they check you. They ask you about any scars or tatoos ... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance had his interview at the Juarez Consulate. I arrived at Juarez a Sunday afternoon. On monday morning He went for his medical, this took about 2 hours. This same day we went to Banamex and paid the visa fee. On Tuesday morning(go early like like 6 or 7), He had his interview. I wasnt allowed to go in with him. It went pretty smooth. Only basic questions asked about our relationship. He got approved! Wednesday afternoon his Visa was ready to be picked at DHL office (recommend to take a taxi). We entered the U.S. on thursday early morning by car. Everything went pretty smooth. Hotels like Quality Inn and Holiday Inn Express are pretty close to consulate and are at a walking distance from the Clinic, bank, consulate and fast food restaurants.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

We had our visa interview on May 23, 2009. We arrived in CDJ on Sunday May 18, 2009 and stayed at the Holiday Inn near the consulate. On Monday morning my fiance and her son went for the medical exams and were finished after 4 hours. My fiances results were finished that day but we had to wait until Thursday for the results for her son. On Friday my fiance and her son went to the open appointment at 8:00 a.m. and returned at 3:00. My fiance was denied for her visa. She was given a blue paper with section 212 a 6 c i mark as the reason for the denial. We return on Monday, July 20, 2009 for her waiver appointment and again stayed at the Holiday Inn. She went to her waiver appointment, turned in the waiver, paid for the DHL, and she returned at 12:00. We waited until Wendesday July 22, 2009 for the DHL package and our case was backlogged.
On July 2, 2010 we receive a letter from USCIS which stated the I-601 waiver was approved.
My fiances open appointment was sched... read complete review

My husband got to Juarez on Thursday night to do the medical on Friday. He stayed at La Quinta. He got to the clinic at 6:30am. He got a bar code, was sent to draw blood, the vision exam, the room where they look for tatoos, piercings, and operations, the X-ray and the vaccines. He did not get sent to do a urine sample or any extra tests. That took about two hours, and he went to pick up the results at 2pm.

On Tuesday, he went for his interview at 9:00am. They had him turn in papers - only his and my birth certificates and his passport, and then he had his fingerprints taken and he paid for the visa. At about 5pm, he finally got his interview. He said about 9 out of 10 people got a blue slip or had to bring more documents and did not go to DHL, and only about 1 out of 10 went to DHL. The consulate was friendly and joked with him. She asked:
How we met, what we were both doing in the place we met,
where we got married, how many people came to our wedding, w... read complete review
