Well I am writing this review because I really want to guide people who are in this process that turned out to be super stressful to me (sorry if my grammar is not the best), anyways here we go.
THE ARRIVAL AND HOTEL
My dad and I flew from Mexico city on sunday on Interjet (my husband had to work). We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel La quinta Inn and it cost 245 pesos.
I decided to stay at La quinta Inn because most of the reviews suggest it, I liked it, it feels very safe since it is gated, also many restaurant deliver to the hotel, and it has a shuttle that takes you everywhere you need to go, breakfast is included and they help you to print stuff. Everybody here is very nice and helpful.
THE EXAMS

Well, it’s finally my turn to contribute a detailed entry about how the visa process has gone for us here in CDJ! This is SUPER detailed, so bear with me! Haha, I just want to give back to everyone at the forum who helped me so much through this process that I figured I’d write down everything to the last detail! We met so many people who had used a lawyer (and many didn’t really have great experiences with them), and I felt so fortunate to have been able to ask all of my questions directly to everyone on the forum. It was stressful at times to get the paperwork ready, but with the help of everyone here, we were able to do it.
Here’s some background info on us just before I jump into the details:
-We’ve been together for 5 years, did long distance during college and I lived in Monterrey for a year and a half. My husband always visited the U.S. on a tourist visa and when I was in Mexico, I got an FM-3 work visa, which allowed me to file using DCF.

Hello there! I just got approved and decided that, since I got a lot of help from VJers I\'ll try to help to.
Getting to CDJ and the Hotel:
I flew with AeroMexico, and that was ok, no complains, but it was pricey. When I arrived at CDJ airport I took a taxi from there to the Hotel, it was 245 pesos and the taxi driver was really nice, he warned me about the \'coyotes\' outside the consulate and told me where the clinics were.
Hotel \'La quinta Inn\':
I loved the hotel, rooms are clean, and spacious. Everyone was incredible nice to me and the shuttle was incredible useful. They drop you wherever you need to go and pick you up when you\'re ready (just need to call the hotel reception).
Medical examination \'Servicios Medicos Fronterizos\':

My husband went by himself to Cuidad Juarez because he was concerned about my safety and taking the time away from work would have been a challenge, as well as costly.
His medical exam was uneventful and it ended up costing 334.00. he saw an older man at the medical exam who had to pay over $700. I don't know how some people do it. This whole experience has drained us financially and emotionally.
Thank God, that we have some resources from which to draw, it makes me sad that money may dictate whether a person can live the American dream. My family immigrated to the United States (actually the North Amreican Continent) in the early 1700's, I'm sure they were poor and looking for a better life.
My husband went to his interview which was short, they said that my original divorce decree from my first marriage was missing. This is after 2 RFE's asking for random things that I know I sent. They asked him if he'd ever been to the US illegally. He said yes for 5 months in... read complete review

We arrived On a Monday to get situated. Tuesday we went to the medicals at the clinic nearest to the embassy since I read on some bad stuff regarding the other clinic. My wife was given her physical and xrays for tb. Our daughter was given a tb shot. We had to return 2 days later for results of daughters tb. Since we had an open appointment we went on Friday with the medical plus tb results for daughter. We arrived at 7am to find a long ass line :|
I asked guard how long the wait would be . He asked what we were here for. I showed him the invite for the open appointment and told me to walk right through. So my wife and daughter went in and I waited outside till about 4pm in that hot blazing sun. I waited across the street in this lil shaded store that does paperwork for visa's . So make sure and go to the guard and show them your invite so you wont have to wait in that line. Good luck!
